Course Curriculum Overview
The reason for choosing International Business specialisation of MBA was my interest in the particular field. The institute has a top-notch faculty team offering the same kind of education to the students. The team consists of experts of different management domains teaching students through the best possible ways. The course duration is 2 years and the exams are conducted on trimester basis.
Internships Opportunities
I was not able to opt for the round for internship due to some health issues. That is why I don't have any individual experience about the round.But,my friends helped me to get the best industrial work exposure by sharing their industrial experience and knowledge with me. It was very beneficial for my overall growth.
Placement Experience
More than 55 companies including 30 first time recruiters visited our college campus for the placement drive of our 2018-20 MBA-IB batch. The highest package offered to our program was INR 18 LPA, while the average package was INR 10.57 LPA. Sales domain with the most number of offers became the top domain of the drive.The prominent names present for the drive were Infosys,ICICI Bank,TCS & Wipro
Fee Structure And Facilities
Delhi School of Economics is among the most affordable institutes of management studies. The total program fee for MBA-IB is INR 32000 only. Merit-based scholarships as well as category based concessions were provided by the institute to the deserving students as per the government norms.
Campus Life
It was among the most important parts for any student's life and the institute offered a premium campus life experience to all its students. Various sports & extracurricular activities were conducted throughout the academic year for student welfare. Ratan Tata library of our college consists of 1,80,000+ books from different fields which is a great source of quality content for the students.
Hostel Facilities
The institute provided separate hostel facilities for both boys and girls. I enjoyed the hostel life as it helped me to explore new things as well as interact with students from different parts of the country.The rooms had all basic necessities for the students at very affordable prices.The food served by hostel mess had a great taste and the menu had a good range of food varieties from all across the country
Admission
Applied candidates were firstly shortlisted by the institute as per CAT score and past academic records. The selected candidates were called for the Interview in which a panel of judges examined the candidate through different ways. The overall performance in all the rounds was referred for final selection of students. And the admissions got confirmed only after the confirmation from university.
