Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum of the course includes general MBA subjects and international business-oriented subjects every semester. Faculty are experienced and well versed in their subject. Some expectations are there for some staff. There is a semester pattern in the college. 4 semesters for the 2 years are there. The exams are that difficult to pass. In general, all students pass the exam. The number of faculties is sufficient. Recruitment is also going on.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities here are very limited. ICICI bank offered the highest stipend of Rs 1,70,000 for 2 months. Other companies like EY offered Rs 60000, LDC Rs 80000, and MTR foods offered rs 80000.
Placement Experience
Final placements are good. The average is around 14.5 lakhs. But this year which is the 2024 batch. It is going a little bit difficult as the market conditions are not good. The highest package last year was 20 lakhs. The companies BFSI sector like ICICI Bank. HDFC Bank. Axis Bank and Airtel payment banks visit the campus for placement. Other companies like EY, Hero, Volvo, etc also visit the campus for placement. The placement starts in 3rd semester. Most of the students got placed in 3rd semester only. Placements are 100 percent here.
Fees and Financial Aid
College fees are around Rs 48700 per year. But apart from this, there is a student body that is completely handled by the students. So for that also the fee is 48000. Earlier fees were less. From the 2023 batch, it has increased to Rs 48700. Scholarships like the National Scholarship by the central government and scholarships from Delhi University is available on an economic background basis.
Campus Life
The campus is small. It is integrated into the Delhi School of Economics. There is a separate building for the Commerce Department. Social life is limited to the classes only. But there are some committees, cell,s and clubs are there which increase the interaction between students. Every cell and club organized their events like case competitions throughout the year. Their annual fest is named 'Synergy' which happens around March. There are Constrat the consulting cell, Infinity the Analytics Club, Alumni committee, Marcom the marketing cell etc.
Admission
Yes. The admission requires a CAT score. I have taken the CAT 2022 exam for admission. Apart from this the 10th and 12th marks also consider for admission. The application form is available on the college website. There are reservation criteria for admission. Admission is conducted in the counseling round according to the merit list.
