Remarks
The less fee it charges was the main criteria I choose this college over other colleges as other colleges also gave the similar placement but the fee was multiple times higher than this college. The admission process consists of giving CAT, GD, and PI. I went through quora, pagalguy, college website while selecting this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is different from many of the other colleges as the specialization offered here is of International Business and Human Resources. I choose International Business. The specialization starts in the first semester and thus the subjects we study are different from most of the colleges that do general MBA in the first year. Faculty are mostly PHD holders with specialization in the subjects they teach us.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, the campus offers internship opportunities. Infact, every year few internships get converted to placement as companies offer PPO. Few companies that hire for summer internships are decathlon, Bajaj, kora management, Cargill, FICCI, etc. There also comes a number of opportunities for the live project from various companies for students of the first year as well as a second year.
Placement Experience
Placement as I mentioned earlier is at par with most of the b-schools of the country. Many companies are regular recruiters and many are added every year on the list who hire students on a regular basis. The highest can go as high as 26lac for the international offer while domestic being around 18lac. The average placement is 9.5 lacs.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is very less, it's 30,000 for the entire course. There is no hike policy here. The fee has remained the same for many years and is likely to remain the same in the future as well. There is no scholarship policy in this college. Campus jobs are provided to students once they enter in the second year, they can apply for jobs in companies that visit the campus.
Campus Life
We have different cells and committees which are responsible for their part of work and activities. The annual fest of the department of commerce happens in the month of February. We have a library that has a huge collection of books. The classroom is decent but not as good as other private institutions.
Interview Experience
Yes, there was a group discussion and interview round for the admission. There is no written test to get admission here. Other criteria include a minimum of at least 50% marks in graduation, and there is weightage for different levels, like 10th, 12th, and CAT score, etc.
