Remarks

There are no union for students. The management of college is the main and they are vere strict. So any problems there students have to solve himself because management is not helpful to students. That is the main drawback of this college.

Entrance Preview

After 3years diploma in mechanical engineering after giving Jelet exam I choose this college. As my rank was there are no good and renowned colleges there.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course structure designed by WBUT. Classes are regular basis and no bunk on classes. We are forced to join classes by warden from the hostel except last year.

Internships Opportunities

No Internship for students. Students have to find thereself for any internship.

Placement Experience

All IT companies visits at our campus and we have no knowledge in that field so we are eliminated at the first round.

College Events

Freshers party, HPL for hostellers, Fest and sports, Farewell party and Thank you party from final year guys.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is not very expensive near about 45k per semester and hostel is much expensive.

No there are no good scholarship or loan facility offered by the college

Campus Life

Exciting Campus life. No girls in Mechanical Dept as usual but there are full of girls and boys. Boys and girls hostel in the campus. Labs are good. In Fest there are many different types of games, competitions sports war of bands fashion shows held. In the ground many couples gossiping in the evening. Everyday in morning and evening football cricket played in the ground. In the campus the gym and a swimming pool for all students.

Hostel rooms are good. Friendly atmosphere and food is average.

I d'nt know. Actually at the time i Passed out there are no alumni for passed out seniors.

Practical exams are very friendly. Bt written examinations are strict.

Faculty

Good and average faculty are there. But all the faculties are helpful.

Placement Experience:

At JGEC,campus placements begin mostly from the 6th/final year semester,when students become eligible .I recent years many well-known companies have visited such as Pinnacle Infotech,Synnova Gears & Transmissions Pvt.Ltd,,TCS,Jyesta corporate Entity and many more.The highest package was around 54 LPA form Google ,While the overall average is 10.2LPA.Many students also take internships, industrial training or prepare for higher studies(GATE) rather than accepting direct placement immediately.The exact percentage of student getting palcement is no where.But last year the percentage placed is 70%.

Ok taking account of these exam ranks you can take admission into this college and the average rank for CSE branch by WBJEE is under 20-25k.
