Remarks

I chose this college because of it's environment. Maitreyi College provides very good environment and exposure to all the students of all courses. The location of college also attracted me as it's all surrounded with greenery and positive atmosphere. The admission process was also very simple and smooth. All the seniors and teachers over there helped everyone so patiently.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I chose this course as after doing graduation, I'll be having option whether I wanna go for physics, chemistry and mathematics. The faculty of the college is very well educated all with PhD degrees. All the faculty and staff are so lovely and handle the problem of the students so genuinely and patiently.

Placement Experience

4.5

The college also provide the internships and placements , the interested student can get into the placement cell which is run by the students itself after clearing certain group discussion and interview . Once you'll clear the interview you will get opportunity to work with the placement cell which will provide you with the internships and these internships will help you to earn some handsome amount of money and will help you to build a strong resume of yourself. Even you will get to do work with the multinational companies and based on your performance you will be hired by these companies only.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is very minimal , it's everyone's cup of tea. Although the fees is very affordable but since who is not able to do so, then also the college and the university provides certain scholarships . In which we need to clear interview for grabbing the scholarship.

Campus Life

5

The life of campus is amazing and exploring. One can get exposure of everything and in any field. Each and every festival is being celebrated by the the campus with full enthusiasm and positive energy. And the days of annual fest are just amazing and of other level. The atmosphere at that time become so energetic and optimistic. Everyone can feel the music in the atmosphere. All the societies are run by the senior students and it provide s a great platform who want to enhance their hobbies and want to turn their hobbies as their carrier. The college library will provide you with all the books of all courses, newspaper of every kind , magazines of every kind, and also other useful books apart from course book. So we don't have to purchase any kind of book of our particular course as college library will provide you with all these and will also give sufficient time to return.

Interview Experience

0.5

No, I didn't face any kind of group discussion or interview. As my admission was totally based on merit basis, that's why I didn't go through all these. Merit based admission don't have to go through any other thing, their admission is based upon the cut off list provided by the different colleges of university.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of Hansraj College is quite active. You are eligible to sit for campus placement offers from 5th semester onwards. Companies like Deloitte, capgemini arw frequent recruiters for several posts and positions. The highest offered package is somewhere around 22000 with the average being at 700000-800000. Not all students get placed on campus, however thr hands on training and learning makes you industry ready, making you eligible amd worthy to apply for off campus placement opportunities. Many students prefer not to sit for campus placements and rather opt for higher studies after graduation. I plan to do the same after getting my undergraduate degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think the BSc Statistics (H) offered by Sri Venkateshwara College has been quite relevant and comprehensive in content. The core courses such as probability, inference, regression, and econometrics were the major reasons for opting for the subject of statistics. It provides us in-depth analytical training that is necessary for higher education and work in the field of data, though there is a need for exposure to software/tools as well. The semester-wise examination, which is moderately tough

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is just like any other college, and you need to do a lot of the skill enhancement by yourself. Here, you will learn something, but not everything that is relevant. The professors will teach according to the syllabus, be it really relevant in real life or not. Everything that you will be learning will be relevant for career in this field, but not enough. You require to put some extra efforts to gain more knowledge and practice.

Placement Experience:

Students typically become eligible from 3rd year/6th semester onwards for most companies. Some internships and tech roles may be available to 2nd-year students depending on the company criteria. Placement Percentage: Usually, 70–85% of eligible students get placed, depending on the stream. Highest placement rates are often in Computer Science, Economics, and Commerce streams. My plan is to become a software engineer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Cource curriculum is highly relevant. It covers fundamental and advanced concepts of zoology , which was the main reason I choose this course. Subjects like human physiology, biochemistry, biomolecules, comparative anatomy of vertebrates, animal behaviour, ...etc. are highly interested and align with my interest. Practical components help in developing and understanding concepts more clearly. However, real world applications is limited. Curriculum prepare students well for further academics for PG or other competitive exams. Exam system is conducted at regular intervals with Internal assessment and semester end. Timings are appropriate . Difficulty level is moderate to high.

Hindu College, Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] {Hons.} (Mathematics)
Reviewed on Jan 6, 2026(Enrolled 2025)

Course Curriculum Overview:

For B.Sc (Hons) Mathematics at Hindu College, the curriculum follows the latest DU UGCF?2022 structure, so it covers both strong theory and some modern applications. The main reason to choose this course is the depth in core areas like Calculus, Algebra, Real Analysis, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations and Probability, which builds a very solid base for higher studies like M.Sc, data science or research. There are six semesters with continuous internal assessment plus end?semester exams, so students study regularly instead of only before finals. Exams are usually moderate to difficult because questions are concept?based, but the pattern is fair and gives weightage to assignments, tutorials and attendance. Overall, the course is quite comprehensive and relevant for careers in teaching, analytics, government exams and higher academics, though adding more practical projects, programming and real?life modelling could make it even more industry?oriented
