Remarks

It is near to my home locality and has a great positive feedback among people. My elder brother is also a passout of this college. Faculty is good but maybe a little inactive sometimes. The main building doesn't have an elevator but the annexe one has but is still in construction phase and half working.

Engineering course is widely famous among Indians so it's nothing musch to explain. I wanted to pursue airport operations which requires a bachelor degree with specifications in communication and therefore I land up here. Faculty is great and knowledgeable

College doesn't provide any internship opportunity. We have to gather our own. Though a few students get some college provided internship

Placement Experience

We are eligible for campus placements from 6th semester onwards. There are around 15-20 companies physically visiting our college for placement and around another 30 in virtual interviews. Annual packages vary from around 4lakhs to 8-9lakhs. More or less 90% get jobs directly in the campus placements.

College Events

There are many clubs in our college mainly the technical club, cultural club, literary club, social work club and a few more. Our technical fest EDGE in the second largest technical fest in WB after IIT Kharagpur. Cultural fest and social media fests are also conducted but they might be smaller compared to other big Colleges.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure in my year was around 80k for first sem then 60k for the rest of the semesters. There are some scholarships available but all are focused for females or sc/st

Hostel Facilities

No hostel facility provided by college. You have find your own private pg or hostel. There are many available in the area ranging from 6k to 10k per month including food.

Admission

We have to give WBJEE or JEE Mains for admission which is quite tough. Board marks actually doesn't matter much. If you get a good rank then only you can get Admission here. You have a small interactive session during addmission.

Placement Experience:

Course Curriculum Overview:

Personally i opted for electrical and electronics instead of the branch of my choice is because my scores were not enough to secure a seat in CSE. But EEE is pretty cool as well for those willing to grow in this branch. Our curriculum exposes us to the rapidly growing sectors in the industry and educates us of all we need to know about the course in depth. If you want to continue ahead in a research field, this Institute is the most supportive. The exam questions are also relevant enough and considering we only need to actually stress over end semesters, its fair enough per semester. It would be better if our professors removed the attendance criteria rest im fine with everything else

This college is west bengal no 2 private college according to NIRF data and also placement basis. And techno has better quality in education rather than other college.
