Entrance Preview

All India Test for engineering minus IITs. Since it was a REC and a govt funded college and also I was getting Mechanical engg thats why I chose.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course curriculum was great with 1st and 2 nd year focussing on basics and rest 2 years on advance topics. College has good labs and research subjects to use and work on. There was ample subjects to choose from for every students in all the streams. I am not sure about 2016 but in 1998, the college was lacking in general computer knowledge for non IT guys .

Internships Opportunities

I am not sure what do you mean by internship. We had placements and internship was given to students by companies.

Placement Experience

4

Placements are and were always great. Jamshedpur being Tata hub, most of non-IT students were also placed. Visiting recruiter also include Indian Army DRDO and other government agencies. As i recently heard and came to know, most of top end technological as well as e commerce companies have visited and selected the students offering a very high joining package.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Being a government college the fee was one of the least in the entire india. The annual fees was 7320 including hostel and their was some amount which was refundable. Students need to pay extra for meals but that was also less than 1000 for 2 meals and 2 breakfast for a month.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am not sure of Any good scholarship / loan facility offered by my college that might have been availed or used by my fellow students. Everything was so cheap so i dont think it was needed.

Exam Structure

Exams and labs very not that hectic . We used to have 30 out 100 marks regular exams in supervision of college staff throughout the year. For the rest 70 marks out of 100, we used to have final annual exam supervisoned by external teachers and staff. The paper was also set by external college teachers.

Faculty

3.5

Being an REC , the teachers and other staff were all very qualified and were always supporting students in studies as well as during placements. They were also supportive during college fests and gave full freedom to students to realize their potential as a natural event organizer and leader

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

on every occasion they will charge the students, there is no good placement, every year they increase the exam fee, students are not regular its poor then government colleges just pay penalty and your attention will be full, its like correspondence course they are running huge but and regular power cuts unhealthy canteens, political motivated administration and management. There expenditure in infrastructure is huge which is best for love birds its like park or garden. Overall all not dedicated to education.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculise fully designed on national education policy 2020. Focuses more on extracurricular activities than core subjects. Because reply is designed on the basis of UGC guidelines which is a good thing for different competitive exams that are design by UGC. I will say semesters are to short that all till now my all four semesters has been glitter in about 4 months each that should be of duration of 6 months.
