Placement Experience
Companies come on campus during the 5th and 6th semesters. The people with workex get placed first and the freshers get placed later The companies for both the categories are different (based on their requirements) so no student is put at a disadvantage 100% placement
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is high, and students generally take loans. Aditya Birla scholarship and JEMS scholarship are given out to the top students out of the top 20 and top 10 respectively. Consulting companies, FMCGs, and major brands come on campus
Campus Life
Ensemble Valhalla is the annual Management, cultural and sports festival of XLRI held in the month of November every year. Huge event with over 10,000 people coming from various Bschools and undergrad colleges across the country. Library gives access to all major publications on campus as well as remotely. Newspapers, magazines, and management books are available in abundance More than 25 committees and interest groups for students to explore and develop themselves
Hostel Facilities
Single occupancy rooms for everyone. Mess menu is handled by a committee run by students so the food quality is easily improved if students face an issue It is compulsory for everyone to stay on campus so everyone has to get accommodations in the hostels itself Due to lack of mobility, students face issues in conducting group meetings
Interview Experience
GD topic- should abortion be legalized in India 5-6 people, 3 panelists Discussions were based on the economic, social, and legal impact of legalizing abortion. The students were asked to follow up questions during interviews Preparation was based on a lot of practice and reading
