Remarks

The reason of choosing Jesus and Mary college was the top placement facilities they provide and the teaching staff is very well experienced and friendly when I first entered the college I was in love with library and huge classrooms if I compare with other South campus colleges JMC campus is much better JMC annual fest montage is very famous in all colleges .

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose bachelor of commerce i.e. B.com as a course the reason behind that was I have a commerce background and always wanted to be in a financial field and bachelor of commerce (hons) is quite difficult for me so I went with B.com .

Course Fees: INR 3000 per year

Placement Experience

In Jesus Mary in last semester students can enroll for placements and many top companies visit Jesus and Mary college like Wipro , ICICI the highest salary package offer is 5 to 7 lakhs various roles are offered in different sectors .

Fees and Financial Aid

As Jesus and Mary college is of Delhi university the fee structure is really less fees of 1 year for bachelor of commerce was around 16000 which is not at all expensive . Also JMC provides very good placement services many reputed companies visits this college and offer high range packages .

Campus Life

JMC has plethora of societies and extra curricular activities to participate such as Enactus, marketing, finance, entrepreneurship, investment and many more almost every other day there is a festival or activity going in JMC the college also hold department fest and annual cultural fests montage among the top few festivals of Delhi university .

Affordability in terms of fee structure and degree they don't have huge amount of fee for any particular program.
Market value as its the oldest and known college of delhi university and their new buildings makes it value for money college.

Dislikes

college do not have proper hygiene in terms of classroom and campus

its highly reletive as they claim and mention in their course structure. they overall difficulty level the exam level are also moderate and if its about the areas for improvement they should focus key campus and library area its should be accessable to all

Life at South Campus

Likes

The crowd at venky is great, diverse crowd.
The campus is well maintained and is one of the bests at DU.

The attendance policy is a little strict for 1st and 2nd year

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.

College is improving day by day teaching faculty is also helpful it recently got A++ NAAC credition as well
Overall college is good if you have good peer group.
Near to north campus so doesn't really feel much of headache if you want to visit regularly.

Dislikes

Shadara is not a good place to spend your college life.
Evening college crowd has made the reputation of the college bad.
Near by area is not safe for Girls in late hours.

Placement Experience:

6th sem is the first time college placement are proceeded . Companies are not impressive and mostly are entry level jobs such as cold calling and such which they offer. Highest package was 4 lpa and avg was 2.5 only. Around 60 percent students gets placed.

The online learning platform is easy ans simple to use students can acces lecture and assigments and study materials anytime
Faculty mambers provide clear guidance through online sessions and study materials they are supportive
They procides recording that was very usefull when we will not attend the live class

Dislikes

Since the classes are in online and also there are some techical issues while taking classes that will interupt classes
placement support is limited in online classes so students need to search for internships and job oppertunities on their own
Its deffecult to connect student coordinators while we wnat exam timetable etc they are too slow

i dont like any thing in this college

there is a green gaurden in my colleges old campus
we have a big ground in our college which i like i can play football there
they make an football ground in old campus which is good

Dislikes

techers are not good in teacing they just want to let it go the classes
my college was too small and the classes are not properly furnished for my class size
there is no place for sit in the shade or to make our mind diverted or have fun and the canteen is worst of old campus

i am from commerce background i want to do eco honers but in 12th i dont have mathematics so i cant then i decideid for b. com honers but i aloted the b.com program which is my 3rd priority umm i leanrd new things in my ncc and with my friends there are very less college activities to i dont know how to make my college life good and make some experiences they can make us travel with them to the real buiseness or any factory or a relay paper work from any company i want to do a camp in jab which is good for my ncc life but it is during my exams thats why i cant did that camp yet

The Eligibility of the course was the 12 pass with above 50-60 % with cuet entrance examination. We can find the application form from the official website of cuet and Delhi University. The application form will be available in online mode and can be submitted in online . The application date and the other details will be available in the official website of Delhi University and cuet . There is reservation benefits in JMC for Christian minority, handicapped , OBC, SC and ST but JMC give more priority to Christian minority. Exams are conducted in the end of every semester.
