IGDTUW Review.

IGDTUW being a girl's college focuses on women empowerment through knowledge and education. It has a good placement cell compared to other colleges. The college is located in the national capital of India which makes it a more suitable preference over others. It also has a good faculty which is the most important aspect any student looks upon while choosing a college.IGDTUW has a good infrastructure that accommodates labs, an auditorium, spacious classrooms, a wide playing field, and hostels for students. This college also organizes fests and many competitions and also is a home to many technical and nontechnical societies which helps in the overall personal and professional growth. This college is no doubt one of the best engineering colleges in our country.

Information Technology or IT is one of the most popular courses in the world considering our technology-driven world. IGDTUW provides this course with excellence. The curriculum is based upon the same which contains topics on coding languages, software, and the main STEM topics. The student to faculty ratio is fair enough. The faculty is very well qualified for teaching in the college, many teachers are graduated from the esteemed IITs and also hold great command in their respective fields. The term exams are held from time to time and are very well planned before. Overall the course curriculum and faculty is good enough.

The college offers many internships to students. Companies such as Flipkart, wallmart, accenture etc visit campus for providing internships. The projects offered are based on different fields according to the internship category which is tech or non tech.

The campus Placements of our college is excellent. Many companies such as Flipkart, Walmart, google, Accenture, uber, etc visit the campus for placements and internships. 90% of the students get placed in the campus including both tech and nontech categories. The highest package was 16 LPA and avg package was 5.5 LPA.

The fees in this college are fair and are very well according to the course and curriculum. The college also provides various scholarships and financial assistance to students who are not able to afford the fees.

The campus life in college is excellent. The college organizes both technical and nontechnical fests every year. The most famous fest is Taarangana which is organized in February and Innerve which is organized in October. The library in our college is very good containing a vast amount of books, newspapers, magazines, etc. The classrooms are spacious with good quality desks, smartboards, podiums, and large windows. The college organizes various sports and curricular activities including sports meets, technical competitions, etc. The college has many technical as well as nontechnical societies such as Tarranum, synergy, techno literate, DSC, etc.
