Remarks

I think the college is very nice and is much better than I thought. The admission process was very easy as we just have to log in to the portal, select the college and course and then apply for it. After that the college reverts after seeing my application within 2 days and after I have to submit the fees within the stipulated time. Apart from PGDAV, I was getting admission in Deshbandhu and Sri Aurobindo College too but after comparing I found that. This college is much better in overall aspects such as societies, sports and placements. And this college is also having a great football team. And I also wanna join it too as I have a great interest in football too. So that was also a reason for choosing this college. The college here are very nice and the crowd here is very much diverse. I have friends in my class from almost every field whether it is sports, music, photography, etc. So that's all I wanna say and I'm glad to be part of PGDAV.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I choose this course because the value of Bcom Hons is very high if we r doing it from DU. So that's the 1st reason. And it's a high placement getting course too. The faculty here is very much experienced and they have a good nature too. They all are highly qualified and The faculty: student ratio is much less as compared to other colleges it's just 55:1 in my course. Since the pandemic is going on our exams were in OBE mode and they were moderately difficult.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

The college provides many internship's opportunities And it varies from finance to analytics to the sports field too. Roles offered under this internship are mostly of the trainee. But they can provide you with great exposure and experience for the future.

Placement Experience

5

The placement cell of the college is very active and it provides many opportunities for internship and placements. Students are eligible to opt for placements only in 3rd year as far as I know. Many reputed companies visited the campus too. And the placement packages are also very good. Last year average salary was 4.2 LPA and the highest salary was 12 LPA. I wanna do MBA in future so I will not opt for this campus placement but Many of my friends most probably will opt for this. So it is also a great option.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are very much affordable In my course it is 13999/- per year. And it also includes examination fees. That means u dont have to submit examination fees at the time of examination. The college's Placement Cell is also very active and It provides various opportunities for internship and Scholarships. Apart from it, the campus placement was also very nice last year. The average salary was 4.2 LPA (approx) and the highest package was 12 LPA.

Campus Life

3.5

At present, I haven't been going to college because pandemic colleges haven't opened yet. But online college life can also be good too but not as much as that in offline mode. So waiting for the colleges to be reopened.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the daulat ram course 8/10. One of the main reasons i chose this course was that the syllabus felt balanced between theory and practical understanding..but the only drawback is that sometimes it felt a bit more theory based rather than practical exposure , the exam pattern is consistent mid-sem internals and end-sem finals twice a year. Internals are usually manageable, but end-semester exams depend a lot on the teacher marking style.

The Placements in my college are decent. In third year, the students become eligible for campus placements whereas there is a huge event named INCREMENTUM for job and internship fair wherein many HR mangers from companies and Non profit organisations like Cognizen Innovations, Pehchaan - The Street School, etc. takes interviews of interested students for internships as well as jobs.

The campus placement is quite good, from 2nd or 3rd year students are eligible. Deloitte visited recently. I'm not aware about this, placements cells are made in college who take care of all this. A good amount of students get place, approx 20 students were placed this tym in Deloitte. I will be continuing with ACCA only.

Course curriculum is as per Delhi University's official curriculum, so it's pretty good. But its very theoretical as well so if I would suggest an improvement it would be this to make the curriculum more real and practical life based rather than rote learning.

Students of 3rd year are eligible for the same. Mckinsey, BCG, Bain, Blackrock, Meesho etc being the most prestigious recruiters. Highest package varies, but it went around 36 L last year. Avg being around 8 L. I would say most students who apply for placements get placed, however only a few get placed in the top companies. I personally wish to pursue an MBA.
