NSEC on Sabyasachi's eye

Hi, myself Sabyasachi Bag from NSEC Kolkata, currently appearing for the last semester of my B.Tech career. I can vastly review my college from my 4 year experience. Firstly, the good aspects of my college are well educated & too many friendly faculties, a nice environment for an engineering student and a decent library. There are few bad aspects as well, like, no common room, no canteen. The admission had done through the WBJEE and AIEEE within August of any calendar year. If you can score a decent result on those examinations you can get a chance to get into my college. I would prefer you guys to make an admission to our college for an advanced level of lab work, a digital library experience, an amazing freshers party and fests that occur every year, a healthy competition towards GATE. Applied Electronics and Instrumentation is a vast course. You can go for further studies with electronics as well as instrumentation. Apart from this, instruments are my favourite things since my childhood that's why I wanted to go with this particular course. The faculty: student ratio of our class is 1:10. Each subject is covered by at least two teachers. They cooperate with us very friendly. The qualification of our faculties is marvellous and prestigious. Most of them are passed out from JU and IITs. The exams were taken by our faculties once a month and sometimes two times a month to ensure a good result of ours. The exams were mostly easy and some of them are really tough and tricky.

From the mid of 3rd semester students become eligible for campus placements. There are many companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, DXC, Accenture that visited our college and they have made some good offers to us. The highest package is 8.2 LPA by Google was offered. 60-70 % of students are getting placed in every year. My plan is to study for the Civil Service Exams after getting the degree.

Around 44 thousand are to be needed to complete one semester. The books that are needed to study for are available in our library so no extra study costs are there. There are some Scholarships like TFW ( Tuition Fee Weber Scheme) that helps a needy student to complete his or her dream.

There is always a festive mood in our college. Freshers Welcome is always conducted by our college every year in the month of August and Mesmerizer (Tech Fest) is conducted as well for future engineers. I have mentioned before that we have a digital library facility in our college, most of the books are available in our library. Amenities like having a projector based class is a different level of experience that you guys can have in our college. Not only that but a peaceful environment and some genius faculties will always help you to find the right path. There are all the sports facilities in our college like Cricket, Football, Carrom, Table Tennis etc. There is a social group named PANKH, helped us doing some social norms.

The topics of GD sessions are equality, women empowerment, the education system of India etc. The process for admission was offline at our time and now online may be. I have prepared myself for these rounds by joining Linkedin, watching youtube videos and doing online sessions.
