Remarks
At the time of my college admission, Netaji Subhash Engineering College was ranked in the top 5 private engineering colleges in Kolkata. Thereby, this institution was on my preference list since my 12th standard. The college has top class faculty members and being a part of the techno group, this institution supports centralized campusing. The Instrumentation stream here is so unique because it combines the goodness of IT and electrical engineering in one package. Not to mention, very few colleges in Kolkata has this particular stream. The admission process is totally hassle-free and the faculty members are sincere and knowledgeable.
Course Curriculum Overview
This course combines the goodness of IT and ECE in one package. The faculty student ratio is about 1:6. The qualification of the teachers varies MTech - PhD, with more than 20 years of teaching experience. Their teaching method is simple and technical. The teachers are always willing to provide support to students and might keep personal contact to help you out. Extra classes and quiz, video lectures and other interactive methods of teaching are common here.
Fees and Financial Aid
There hasn't been any fees hike since I joined the college. The cost to study is around rupees 7000-8000 rupees per month. There are no extra fees for the library and it is accounted for within the regular college fee for each semester.
Campus Life
The college has a special place amongst all the other engineering colleges in West Bengal for the grandeur of its official fest which is known as mesmerizer. They are a multiple tech fest in our college known as Avenir and Aavahan. There is an eco-cultural club in the college which is in charge of the fests of their domain. The fests are basically conducted from March to June. Almost every classroom is a digital classroom.
