Biomedical Engineering in Netaji Subhash Engineering College

I liked this college as this college is highly reputed for the Biomedical Engineering stream. Our college ranked in the top five in India in Biomedical Engineering steam. Biomedical engineering is an up growing department. There are many scopes for higher education abroad and lot of research scope. About 100 % are placed in many companies and hospitals. Well about my course it is almost updated I say , and there is a scope of improvements nowadays as they have introduced artificial intelligence and machine learning for higher semester students. They also have well-equipped laboratory with updated systems. The study environment is easy and there is no too much pressure. One has ample time to pursue their hobbies and interests . Batchmates and faculty are smart and cooperative at all the times . The college also enjoys a strong brand image among the recruiter s and foreign universities . Some bad things include poor canteen food and sports complex is not being adequately equipped.

I choose the course as there are excellent facilities and placement opportunities. Students are equipped with high - demand technologies to be it machine learning etc to get. I choose Biomedical Engineering so that I have more opportunity. Faculty and student relationship is the most likely thing in this college. They ensure to be friendly with students and make them feel comfortable with the environment, moreover hostel students have advantages of having a good relationship with staff and so they will not feel missing home. All the faculty completed their PhD and they are often provided training by research professionals way and also provide special care for the students to clarify their doubts. We have a daily assessment to revise the recall syllabus and also a monthly assessment to revise the portions. It was not difficult to get a pass mark, because they make us get through with the syllabus on daily basis. All the teachers are trying their best for understanding.

Internship s are provided with a stipend. All the department students can avail themselves of the internship. Many companies offer an internship program. All the project s and sent to various competitions and won many prizes and provided recognition to the students. Faculties are more helpful for building career opportunities for students.

College provided 100 percentage placements and students are eligible from 3rd year to attend the campus drive. Number companies pooled for a drive. Companies like Wipro, HCL, Pega, BOA, TCS, Emphasis, Hexaware, T & VS, IBM, etc. The highest package is 12 lakhs per annum and average package is 3.5 lakhs per annum and the lowest package is 2.5 lakhs per annum. The number of students in the department of our college is 60 now. There is only 2 college s in our state that provided a Biomedical Engineering stream. Our college is on top of them. So there is high scope for getting a job. And there is scope for higher study abroad after b .tech and a lot of research studies

Fees are common for all four years students. In four year study, one student needs a total of about 4 lakh only for college The scholarship is provided based on the marks scored in 12th. Even scholarship is provided for financially challenged students.

We have a college cultural fest per year and technical festival every year and also we have a department cultural festival every year. Indoor and outdoor gaming competition is also arranged every year. All kind of journals and books are available in the library and they can be accessed at any time. The classroom is cleaned daily and also provide with a spacious and calm environment, we can perticipate in all extracurricular activities without any hesitation and restrictions. There are sufficient computers and instruments . Our laboratory assistant and faculty members are very helpful and they are friendly. As there are limited Biomedical Engineering College in India and students are not huge numbers and our college is highly reputed in Biomedical Engineering stream. So all the students are placed
