My college is one of the best in DU. Its ranking is 69 in India among top colleges. Teachers are very helpful and good to all of us. I took admission through the merit list process. I want admission through sports quota but due to covid-19, I can't. I searched for my college on Google and from friends. There was a comparison between Shyam Lal college and Ramanujan college. Many friends suggested I, Shyam Lal, over Ramanujan.

I am a student of BSc Mathematics Hons. Because I like math most of all subjects. So it is very easy for me to choose my subject. There are 7 teachers in my class and 48 students. The number of students changes some times due to the Admission process but now it's good. Teachers are well educated and helpful to all of us. Exams were on monthly basis by teachers but the official exams are on a gap of 5-6 months and it completes a semester. You can say that paper is 70% - 75% out of 100 in difficulty level.

Yes, there are many interns programmes. I can't even count them. There are many societies and I can do as many things as I want apart from my studies. Due to covid-19 also my college gave me lots of opportunities. As I already mentioned I even can't count. There is another event in the group in 2 days. Sometimes less than that. So in this, my college is very good.

The fees are not so good. It is a little bit high. It must be around 13500 - 14000 or even less. But scholarships are only for backward classes or for teachers children. No scholarships for General Category students. And that's a bad point about my college. Still, this is the online era so due to covid-19, I can't get a chance to change anything or do something for my college.

I visited college only once due to covid-19 but I can say that's my college is fully compressed of all things. It is very good at infrastructure and having a good huge library, canteen and other things.

No, I took admission through the merit list process. Although my teacher's do these activities in class. This helps me a lot. I can't say much about others but for me, it is a very good opportunity. I prefer that there must be a common written exam or interview. So that everyone can so their abilities without any "CAST" barriers.
