Remarks

I got my dream course B.Sc(hons.) physics in the 1st cutoff released by DU . After that I checked it's reviews (like you're doing right now) at various platforms and took admission in this college. Other reason to choose this college was it's location. Metro station is just under a sq. km area of south campus so it was easy for me to updown for the college from my home( Greater Noida).

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Highly qualified and experienced teachers are in this college for the stream. I won't say that all of them are equally helpful and kind to us but yes, Our physics lab staff is also good. faculty-student ratio (including all the professors and lab assistants) is 1:4 and it is appropriate.

Fees and Financial Aid

Physics is a theory cum practical subject. So, including the lab charges, admission, and examination fee, my course costs approx. 14,000 per year whivh6 is quite worthy. Actually what costs more is living in Delhi in a PG or hostel which adds up to INR 1.20,000 a year. If you can't afford this then You should/can apply for merit or entrance-based scholarships like INSPIRE, KVPY, etc. It will help you a lot financially.

Campus Life

4

College life is more about exploring yourself isotropically than just studying. So, one should try to be part of these activities. Definitely, you will find clubs and societies of your interest in the college. Debating, dancing, modeling societies are prominent ones in the college. Rest, the campus is green and known for its substructures. Great library, possesses a large variety of books! Nice seminar room and other classrooms except for Arts block. Sports and WiFi facilities are available.

Placement Experience:

Placements usually start after the second semester. A variety of companies like Byjus, Namo India, Urban Calp, ICICI, DE Shaw, Oberoi groups, ABP news, Thomas Reuters, Microsoft, etc. visit the campus every year. More than 200 offers for jobs are made every year and a lot more for internships. Packages for jobs offered vary from 2,00,000-12,00,000 rupees. The campus placement cell informs the students of the jobs offered and the packages. About 10 students out of 50 take up the placement rest from the chemistry honours course goes for higher studies for the preparation of civil services.

College overall management is very good, helpful and supportive. All queries and concern are addressed on priority basis. All announcement and activities communicated timely. College staffs, professors and management are really very helpful and supportive. My experience was very good however i would request admin to expand and communicate their sports level program so that maximum students can participate, grow and their hidden talent can come out by these opportunities.

Remarks:

The college management surprisingly, truth be told, is very quick in their work. You would normally expect things to take their usual bureaucratic/government time to work but it really doesn't here. Apart from the minor hiccups one can get when one is made to run between departments to get some stuff sorted, it is overall really good. The 'running here and there' too in my opinion is important as it prepares us for the outside world. The world isn't all good and with rainbows and unicorns flying around. A whole lot of people exist and we need to learn to cooperate, tackle, take things in our stride and learn to just let minor things go. College prepares you for that.
