Hope with IIM Trichy

The Admission process of CAP college is the first to clear the CAT exam, Second WAT & Personal Interview round. Under WAT, till now all topics are general like current affair and more Business news. My WAT topic at CAP is "Crypto Currency: legal or illegal", and in VGSOM is "India is ready for Digitalization?". And MY Personal Interview is basely on my work experience and basic engineering question (Manufacturing (L&T work experience) and Automobile(my area of interest)). First, I am interested in Finance and Marketing. And I converted colleges list DMS Delhi, CAP (expect IIM Ranchi), VGSOM etc. Only IIM Trichy is providing better role and good companies. Second My friend is also PGPM-2019-2021 Batch at IIM Trichy. And Third, I want to explore more culture & I never visited south too. One more additional plus point of IIM Trichy is the only CAP college, which has a good finance reputation in the market and also faculties are good experienced plus better name in the cooperating world.

As my expectation, Faculties at IIM Trichy is well experienced and better co-operate connection. On which we got to explore many live projects in the area of interest. Faculties like Marketing taught additionally current companies case with HBS cases (within 2-3 year companies case). My 1st year MBA is online, I didn't explore more peer learning. But from the 2nd term, the co-curriculum is designed online, which help the group learning. The Marketing and Finance faculties are very good with there subject and mainly teaching method. The faculties teaching method created subjects more interesting by each class pre-submission and poling base question. The exam is mainly 2-3hr depends on the subjects and the online proctored platform.

The college Summer internship is a major base on pre-MBA profiles. The fresher got chance in all domain which she/he interested. In the work experience, people have little difficult to switch the line. The major Summer location is tier-1 cities with decent roles. The many companies core marketing and Finance firms gave the core area intern actual work, not a structured program of the intern. The project is like to consult the foreign company for the future of the healthcare sector to invest or not, make go to market strategy, how to expand company reach in tier-2 cities, Operation optimizations etc.

Under CAP, the IIM Trichy placement is very good and also a number of companies with roles that offer role same as old IIMs. The many top finance firm like JPMC, Goldman Sach & top consult firm McKinsey, Deloitte, Bain is coming with core roles. The maximum people will get the same area he/she wants. Current days, Marketing influence also increases with the numbers of FMCG companies are showing interest. The PPO ratio is also good to compare other CAP IIMs.

The relative cost of the program is relatively high compare to the same peer colleges. The college already provides many SC/ST categories GovermentS Scholarships. And also DML (Director Merit List) base scholarship is available from 5 lakhs to 50k. Students got many Live projects opportunities with the study.

My first 2 terms are online so I didn't enjoy it as much as seniors have. But 3rd term, I was on campus. the college has an individual room for students. Room with all basic facilities with additional AC. The campus infrastructure is very unique and mainly LRC is a very beautiful place for the group as well as individual study. A total of 19 clubs and committees are there like general marketing, finance, mess, operation, elixir etc.

The hostel has all the basic facilities from the elevator to the AC room. all single occupancy room. The hostel room has an ample amount of space for individual person. You will get any basic infrastructure service within 24hr from the raise ticket on-campus platform. The hostel infrastructure is also too unique and maximum space inside. The mess menu for north Indian person is also like to eat. also tasted some south Indian traditional dishes. The 2 meal and 2 snacks around 20k term charges.

The GD/WAT is mainly base on the current affair from the last 6-12 months. If someone didn't read any newspaper or aware of the current affair, he will definitely face difficulty. I faced difficulty because some news I never read in detail just read headlines. So, please read the whole news not just headlines and also not follow 50 words summary app. During WAT, please try to write as many as you write before the final one and also make a structured way. And personal interview time please prepared why MBA, weakness & Strength etc. Also prepared one bachelor subject on which you can easily answer with detail. If you have work experience, prepared well about your company background. its current market news & future plan.
