Remarks

Christ university is very well known for the hotel management course. The admission process, initial stages were online application etc and then later on entrance and interview was at the campus and on different dates for different students. Basic questions and 1 minute speech was asked in the interview. I had asked a few seniors about the college before joining, they said it was strict but good.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course on the hopes of becoming a paatry chef. Faculties are really encouraging and ready to help us at all times but they are very strict. They are experienced in their fields. Teaching method is face to face using boards and also ppt. Practicals are also there. Exams usually occur once in 2 months and its easy to pass.

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 510000 per year

Placement Experience

Students are eligible for placements only in the 8th semester. Hilton, Marriott, Taj, Carnival cruise etc are a few placement companies. Im not well aware of the packages available. Around 95% get placed. After degree, i would like to opt for further studies in pastry arts.

College Events

Annual fest is blossoms conducted on December and it is huge. Tech fests for bhm including arambha, abhikrama etc. Sports is not very relevant for bhm and we dont have enough time to concentrate on that, extra curricular activities based on hospitality is conducted veey regularly.

Good for you if you want a degree and want self learn

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are no such specific of the curriculum that influenceed me to take these course instead i was interested or kneen to this course., since my childhood I wanted do this course. It's good in terms of virtual world but not for real world. Everywhere there's a need of improvement no practical knowledge is present here no one talks about new ideas not even they think about even some of them came because it costed them low. No such specific difficulty.

From 5th semester itself the students are eligible to apply the campus placements according to the company requirements. The placement cell of the campus is very well. There are some set of rules in the cell. Many of the companies offer employments to the students studying in the college. Some of the popular companies include Infosys, Wipro, Bosch, Catterpillar, IBM, TCS and others. The students with above 8 CGPA have 90% chance of getting placed. I am also planning to getting placed after completion of my course.
