Dayananda Sagar University in a nutshell

I personally feel that them teaching us python would be a great start to learn data structures algorithm being in core cse branch. The exams are too fast and early , I feel that they should extend the semester.

I applied through kcet, got into the college in 2nd round. I paid around 1.07lakhs to kea and paid 38000 to college which was divided into skill development fee(21000), library fee(1000), examination fee(10000) and other mischallaneous stuff. The management fee is around 5lakhs and the people who got into the college from DSATM exam have to pay for 350000. The college hostel is around 200000. I live in pg

They conduct 2 major cultural fests named Cascades and TARANGA. And some mischallaneous events conducted by Department of student affair. We have a medium sized library with some upto date computers with a seating of 300 members. All class are equipped with a big screen and 3 whiteboards. They keep the grounds open all night There are many useful clubs

I applied to RVCE, RVITM, PES EC CAMPUS, PES RR CAMPUS, MSRIT, BMSCE, BMSIT but my cutoff was low and couldn't apply so DSU was the ideal university for my rank. I didn't get any rejection cuz I applied through kcet and I got DSU ALL THE mockrounds.

1:30 teacher to student ratio, some of the faculty are very very chill but some of them are just self centered and focused on their career. I personally liked Dr Nitumoni Ma'am who taught us physics and helped us a lot throughout the semester. Our maths (Pabitra) dissapointed us a little and taught too slow. There are 2 midsems and final sem exams. Most of them are easy to pass but people don't study

We have cafeteria inside college names tummy trails, buts and bites 2 places, library in school of engineering, cdsimer. Campus will be open till 6 but after 6 you need to go through medical College gate to get out. Hostellers can't go out at night. There's this shop called friends adda outside the college and it's very nice and affordable
