I think the management is quite good and it has great faculties.

I think the course curriculum is quite good. It covers various fields and I think it is enough detailed to get you placed in any company. The curriculum aslo provides a lot of technical knowledge which is helpful when on campus placements are going on.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Placement Experience

In our branch that is ece there is 100% placement every year and the average package is 6 lpa. But from the whole college aslo many people are placed.

College Events

There are many cultural and technical events celebrated in our college. Such as technical fest where exhibition are held in regards to different things robowars are done. In the cultural fest dance song and different popular singers come to our college and perform.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I think the fee structure is very expensive. It is based on many caste layers and socio economic conditions which I don't prefer. The fee is too much high for a regular household. Being a government run institution I thought it would take less money but it is same as every private college.

Yes I have opted for a scholarship and there is a scholarship and stipend sectiom in my college that helps me with it.

Campus Life

The gender ratio is 1:4. There are people of various ethnicities, diversity, religion race sexuality inside our college and they are treated equally inside our campus. There are various cultural events and sport competitions taking place in our college, and according to me I think they are quite well organised.

Hostel Facilities

As my house is somewhat close to the college and they have decent bus facilities I have not opted for the hostel services. But I know that in 1st year rooms are shared but in 2nd year everyone has their individual rooms.

Alumni/Alumna

The senior students are very helpful. They help us every now and then. I have not been interacted with an almuni till now.

Admission

I wanted to do Engineering from childhood. and I wanted it to be a government college. So after giving mains I started to check all the college and when the admissions started I applied for the college and there were 7 rounds where I could choose the subjects and the admissions were quite smooth.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good enough if you if your skills are much better than others if your CG is at least above them 8.5 then you will definitely get a good package so many companies comes to our college including Microsoft Google Amazon etc.. highest package of last year is 68 lpa

NIT Agartala is one of the most prettiest colleges in India!!

Placement Experience:

From Gaya Steel, to JK Tyres and companies involved in production were the ones who gave us placements. On and average production engineers at our college were paid around 4-5 lakhs a year. The lowest of all but still in top corporate houses as no start-ups are into production. This established names where the one who gave us placements.

JOURNEY TO NIT AGARTALA

Placement Experience:

The market is down these days so placement is not very good but yeah i would say its average not that bad. In 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements and company starts visit to campus. Sicne the placement season just started so the process is going on but yeah deollite, oracle, sigmoid, globallogic and many more came and offer jobs. The highest package on campus is nearly about 23lpa which is offered by British Petroleum and average package may vary from 10lpa to 14 lpa. Almost 96% student got placed every year rest are seeking for higher studies and appear in Gate exams. I will take job and start my corporate journey.

Life at NIT Agartala: A Perfect Blend Of Academics, Opportunitites, and Campus Vibes

Placement Experience:

Placments at NIT Agartala are strong, with students becoming eligible for campus recruitment from 7th semester. Top compines include Google,TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, L&T, Nvidia,Samsung,BEL and public sector units(PSUs). The highest package goes upto 50 LPA in software roles, while the average package ranges from 8-12 LPA for core and tech roles. Around 80-85% students secure placements, with higher percentage in CSE,ECE and core branches. After completing my B.Tech in ECE, I plan to explore opportunities in core electronics, Embedded systems, or software development, leveraging my academic background annd internship experiences.

My views on NIT-A

Placement Experience:

Placements records are pretty good and it's improving with time. The nirf ranking of nit Agartala among the engineering colleges has also reached 82 from 91 so it's a good walk . And there's no unemployment of the student has the potential.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is way far better than any other average private college in our country. At this price point.. I think this is best.. but I think the syllabus should be slightly changed as the syllabus the way they thought us is not so modern way.

JOURNEY TO NIT AGARTALA

When I was applying to collleges, I appeared for JEE Mains and applied to other NITS and IIITS , My aim wwas to secure admission in reputed national institutes with good placements. I got admission in NIT Agartala(ECE Branch),which i chose over other colleges because of NIT brand value, national-level peer group, alumini network. I couldn't make it to the top tier NITS and IIITS as my JEE rank was slightly higher than their cutoff range. The competition is extremely tough and even a few marks can make huge difference in rank. The admission process is conducted through JoSAA/CSAB councelling based on score, For btech admission,JEE main is the accepted and most prefrred exam. The basic eligibilty is passing 10+2 wiht Physics ,Chemistry and Maths. Cutoff vary depending on category and branch.
