Remarks

The college is beautiful which makes it a good place to study after school. Also, the placements offered after completion of the course are fairly good enough. Also, teachers are also good. Faculty, services, hostel, gym, shooting, beautiful place, as well as the location, is good. I would be blessed to get such an amazing college and the main this is that it is really a ragging free campas which is help for students.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Professors are good. In 1st year some teachers are M.tech students. Mainly 4 engineering branches are here. In my view, CS is the best branch here and for CS, many labs are available. The faculty try to help you in every possible way. They will never force you to study but put you on right track. They will help you with the notes. They also provide extra classes whenever you ask for them. Also, there are separate tutorial classes for practicing problems.

Internships Opportunities

5

The college also organizes industrial visits for the students so that the students can know more about the company and their doing of work. College gives an opportunity to the students to take part in seminars and competitions.

Placement Experience

5

Placements are very high in this college. It offers placements from several multinational companies. The lowest salary was around 2.5 lakh and the highest according to me was around 8 lakh. They get good places in various types of big companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

very high fees are charged for the students which are 7,28,000 for the whole course of B.tech and then there are other expenses like hostel food etc which have to be taken care of. The fee is high but it's a good college.

Campus Life

5

The classrooms are spacious with smart boards available for studying. The campus also boasts of Wi-Fi, with below average speed in sector 128 and an above average speed in sector 62. The labs are well-constructed with all the instruments in working condition and manuals of premier colleges are available. The college has air-conditioned classrooms, labs, library and hostel rooms.

Interview Experience

5

For taking admission here, you need to score at least 55% in 10+2 and appear for the essay writing here. After this, they call you for an interview and if you are selected(which you obviously are) then they call you informing the same.

Placement Experience:

I’d rate HIT’s placement opportunities as 7.5/10 overall. It’s very good for CSE, IT, and ECE, decent for Electrical and core branches, and improving every year with more companies visiting and better preparation programs. If you’re skilled and consistent — especially in coding, communication, and aptitude — you’ll almost certainly get placed before graduatin

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft. The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles, finance in some cases. The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.
