Remarks

The college is centrally located in south Delhi. It has 2 metro stations nearby which make it very easy to commute. It has nearby 3 malls mgf, Citywalk, DLF which makes it quite interesting as in free time we can go and enjoy ourselves there.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty is very educated and Helpful. The course structure is also easy but lacks practical knowledge. Students are only given theoretical knowledge whereas the course requires a lot of practical knowledge as well.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 8000 per year

Placement Experience

The placement is not so good. You have to take your efforts for finding a good job. The college society helps you that but you can't completely rely on them. Approx 30% of students get placed with the help of society

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are minimum in the industry. There are no fees hike in this course the fees are constant at rupees 8409 approx. For backward classes, the fees are less and no other charges are added for them.

Campus Life

The annual fest is TATVA. It is a very fun fest with various activities and food stalls. The college societies also organize their own annual fests where various activities are being held such as the FIFA event, webinar, etc

JESUS & MARY COLLEGE - AN UNDERRATED GEM

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 4th or 5th semester. Deloitte , Bain & company, PWC ,EY, Grant Thornton (for consulting services) offer the highest package to roles like analyst and accountant. Other companies such as ICICI Bank, Kotak securities , Inshorts , Urban company,HUL, Wipro,ITC hotels , Appollo Hospital etc. the highest package recorded in 2024 was 23.05 LPA and average package as 6 LPA . 85-90% of the eligible students get the placement, the data might vary as some students opt for 4th year for their research work. My plans after getting the degree lie in marketing or consulting field.

Placement Experience:

From the second year people are eligible for internships and placements. Our course and college offers very well placements as compared to other colleges in terms of the industry exposure. My plan is to do the 4- year course and then do a job for 1-2 years then start my own business while pursuing masters degree

Course Curriculum Overview:

I to be honest don't like my course much but it's not too bad also , it does allow you to have a practical exposure along side your studies. As the pressure of syllabus is not much. Teaching methods are not too good also but not bad too. The difficulty level is not much.

Placements are offered in my college from top companies such as accenture, godrej, etc. Placements range from 6-9 lpa on average. Highest package is around 12 lacs but i am not sure. My plans after this degree are doing masters from a good university or working for 2 years.

Consequences after getting admitted in DU

I gave the CUET exams to get my college. CUET exam is basically an entrance test for bachelors degree which eligibles you to all the central universities of India. You have to appear for four domain subjects that you have studied in your class 11th and 12th. You can apply for any course irrespective of it's connection with the subjects that you jave studied earlier. Based on your cuet score you will be eligible for different courses. The cutoff is really high for Delhi University starting from 600 for more most of the courses starting from the lower reputed colleges. You do get reservation benefits. The application form are generally out in the month of April. The exam has nothing to do with your class 12th percentage until you have passed the class. The only demerit I find is the late admission process. By the time you get the results of the exam, other top colleges' admission are done by then....Read More
