Remarks

The Only thing that is good about this college is The Friendly Environment and its Greenery. The people here are Helping in nature. Teachers are irregular and careless towards the teaching. we had about 1 or 2 classes a week of a subject and sometimes there were no classes at all. Addmission process is Simple you just have to wait for cutoff. preferring this college was the only option available as I was an average scorer I only got this college In DU. no such site helped to find this college all you need is to look over the Cutoffs and colleges in the list.

Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

I was an economics lover since 11th class and 12th class economics made my love towards the subject incredibly high. so I really wanted to go for economics as a core subject for a long time .faculty here is very mean and irregular. we had about 1 or 2 classes per week for a subject sometimes there were no classes for months. we had to study by ourselves or through coaching. Faculty here is qualified Amazingly through DSE and JNU Masters but they are now earning without a cause that's a shame. when they take classes we get nothing about what they are teaching or what topic they are talking about they just come for 15 minutes in an hour period and teach nothing good. term exams were just our man business as we had to study by ourselves in 1 2 months that's the reason many students scores low.

Placement Experience

0.5

from the 5th semester students can sit in placement sessions. but the placements are off the campus in different BPO the placements are hell here they don't provide any. they say go there we have talked to the company and when we get to know every time it's a BPO. and no job is given according to your studies and specialty in your field. 3 4 students may get placed in hunters as nobody opt for these jobs and interviews. If you are an Eco Hons graduate make sure to go for post-graduation as i will be Doing it too. Its a necessity in today's time.

Fees and Financial Aid

the fee is not really high compared to private colleges but we don't get a good level of faculty to teach here. scholarships are available for SC-ST students and even in them, only a few get the amount. Kashmiri Muslims get the priority in Delhi for scholarships.

Campus Life

2

The annual fest is not good the union steals the most of the money which makes the annual fest a less attractive fest as they get a cheap singer every year whose name we never heard before. The library is worst and filled with old and Tore books all over and the number of books is really low . one can find the book he wants with a probability of 0.004%. classrooms are worst somewhere you cannot even sit properly on those small benches where even school going children won't be able to sit too. in some empty classrooms, Love birds can be seen sitting making love in the open so it's really disgusting. sports is not all that huge in this place cant say much about this if you are a sports-loving person then don't opt for this college. there are societies Like NCC, NSS, ENACTUS, Eco group, Picoholics but the societies are as good as dead.

Other Applied Colleges

Dilshad Garden Diet college | D.EL.ED

My name has come in Diet in government college but i wanted to pursue economics honours so i didn't opt for it

Course Curriculum Overview:

It DU, so i think for many students it comes down to if you are able to make it to cutt off list. So my decision was based on it. I cleared the cutt off list for english hons so i took it. I wanted to make my way for govt job, so it was all about getting a degree regardless of what subject i was getting. I think curriculum just make you educated enough to get to know but its the college life that make you come face to face with the real world. exams every 6 months i.e every semester i think its good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really like Human Geography which let me to opt for this paper. Besides theory papers, we also have practical papers every semester through which we conduct surveys, interviews, research which helps us in preparing for the real world applications as well as further academic pursuits if we want to go in the field of Remote sensing or GIS. I feel that for papers including research or management, we should be showcasing how we can mitigate them or adapt in such scenarios and also make drafts for writing a research for further pursuits. However, as the time is limited it is quite understandable as to why its not conducted. We have two exams in a year and they are quite relevant and easy

DTU is one of thos universities which has the biggest substrata when it comes to placements. Nearly 500 companies so far have visited DTU and half of them are a regular partner now. Our course which was induced just 8 years back in DTU has placed students and average package has been around 5 to 6 Lakhs per annum.
