Course Curriculum Overview

3

My course is b.a programme (political science+computer application) I wasn't influenced by curriculum rather It was my 3rd choice I wanted to go in jnu and didn't manage to get selected subject .my subject combination in the course is is hard but good as computer application will help me get knowledge for working of computer and for political science helps me for me to prepare for examinations like upse ,ssc, cds, state pcs etc.For improvement Language paper need to optional for students and add geography history for general elective subject.

Internships Opportunities

1

Nil no companies offer any intership a student have to apply his own efforts to get internship college does not help at all and there very less opportunity for students to get into any paid internship

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees is 13k and something for b.a program course tuition fees cost around 150 rs which is relatively low from other colleges admission fees costest 100 rs there is library and reading room fees which is around 500 with sports fee which 750 .There isn't much difference in fees structure for sc and st students but this college is much cheaper than any other colleges in du .Some few of my friends are in different course than me so there annual fees might differ from mine. For example - b.com hons students pays 25k annual fees Our university provide scholarship and financial aids for the economic weak section

Campus Life

2

My campus life is going in a slow and steady pace not so much going on . I am in college football team but the infrastructure structure I not so great other du college football team player get paid for match they play and transportation fee but in our college adminstration does not provide us those facilities we don't even have proper training ground and equipment.

Admission

I didn't choose this college above all else but it was my last option I applied for jnu ,bhu, allahabad university but I got du instead and this college which I had to pick because i made mistake my preference in selecting the college under du .The admission process was through cuet for cut off every year it's different so it get updated through sites

Faculty

1

The faculty to students ratio is 1:60 . faculty to students relationship is not well major faculty in college don't provide information for students about class and course . computer faculty, office faculty are few not help regarding anything .Exam are easy if you study enough if not then god bless you

Night Life

1

As per location of our college its is not a very good place to have a night life there is no hangout place outside the college and its not safe to roam around at night locality is not safe you might get mugged or stabbed or both . The only place for a hangout is ground inside the college or cafeteria . Our college library is also not very well maintained old book are in large numbers it is small not many people can go in there ,there is no gym in college as it should be 'cause other colleges provide those for students fitness but not ours ,for in cafeteria is expensive

Course Curriculum Overview:

It DU, so i think for many students it comes down to if you are able to make it to cutt off list. So my decision was based on it. I cleared the cutt off list for english hons so i took it. I wanted to make my way for govt job, so it was all about getting a degree regardless of what subject i was getting. I think curriculum just make you educated enough to get to know but its the college life that make you come face to face with the real world. exams every 6 months i.e every semester i think its good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really like Human Geography which let me to opt for this paper. Besides theory papers, we also have practical papers every semester through which we conduct surveys, interviews, research which helps us in preparing for the real world applications as well as further academic pursuits if we want to go in the field of Remote sensing or GIS. I feel that for papers including research or management, we should be showcasing how we can mitigate them or adapt in such scenarios and also make drafts for writing a research for further pursuits. However, as the time is limited it is quite understandable as to why its not conducted. We have two exams in a year and they are quite relevant and easy
