Remarks

Completed graduation from Birbhum Institute of engineering and technology. My initial target was to get admission in computer science. Due to seat unavailability got IT. Teachers are too supportive. Happy to complete graduation from there.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am very interested in coding. My elder brother also an IT graduate. So always wanted to follow his path and take guidance. Teachers are too supportive. Two semesters in each year. One in summer and another in winter.

Class Size: 12Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Placement Experience

My plans were to complete graduation and pursue a software course to get better offer. For job went to Hyderabad and looking for a job. Their companies are offering decent salary. Opportunities are also sufficient to get a job.

Fees and Financial Aid

In each year fees hike 20% from existing. I didn't get any scholarship for financial assistance but tuition fees waiver scheme was available for a few Students. It's all about parents yearly income. No campusing happen in our college.

Campus Life

Corona astadasam was our fest name. I enjoyed a lot in our fest. We invited a famous band to perform in our fest. The library is spacious and enough books are available for all students. There were extracurricular activities available to us.

Placement Experience:

From Third semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies like P360, EY, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Neutanix, BinaryWorks and few more visited our college for placements and mostly 15 to 20 offers were made Highest package was around 5 to 6 lpa 50% students were placed I am now preparing for govt jobs and side by side also applying for offcampuses. I have also given CUET for pursuing M. Tech

Placement Experience:

Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

A GOOD COLLEGE WITH GOOD PLACEMENT , SPORTS FACILITY.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 7th sem. The names of comanies visited are TCS, Infosys, Capegimini,Tech mahindra etc. Some students Got 2 offer laters . Highest packages last year was 47 LPA (off Campus) 27LPA ( on campus). Average pakage was 5-6Lpa. The job role is Software Development. Percentage of Students Got placement is 92-95% In my Deoartment. Other is Around 70_90%. My plans to take placement from product based company.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Excellent collage

The course is completed after the 12th and then qualification of the e Jew exam passed with a good rank then u should get admission in this college. The application form is found on the website of Waheed and then the application date is in December. all the reservations of the west Bengal government for all communities applied here There are some issues bin online application should make easier and then decentralized counseling processes should be easier....Read More
