Likes

The exam is conducted timely, but the best thing is that the result will be published on time.
But they help at their maximum level to provide students with hands-on exposure during summer/winter vacations at our own cost.
Truly, the placement and job facility are not so good, and the college also does not provide any internships. Many years ago, our college was one of the best in West Bengal for placement, but now there is a decline in all these processes.

Dislikes

Placement is the worst thing in my college. Before my batch, there were no such companies that came. Some fake companies also came in my year. Only TCS came and took very few students. No other reputed companies came.
Scholarships are given by our college, and there is also no process for a loan facility. In this way, our college is a little behind, but the fees are not so high, which is also a reason for not having a loan facility.
There are no extra-curricular facilities in our hostel. There is a TV room, a badminton court, and a common room with a table tennis board. However, instruments are not available, labs are not up to the mark, and the ground is present but not well-oriented

I like the most faculty member of this college.

I choose computer science and engineering in this college which syllbus is followed by our university makuat. which is so older version according to todays world.So I think this course curriculm is so older.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course creates an opportunities for the student's governments and private and corporate sectors and then it should create opportunities in also startup sector. There are 60 students and 5 teachers in each department. The teachers are highly qualified and they completed m.tech and ph.d

It was a great experience at BIET.

Placement Experience:

Palcement is good. 10% students were placed. The highest salary was 3 lpa and lowest was 1.5 lpa. All the placed students are very happy with the college. If u r good then u can get waht u want and this college guides u for that.

Overall College Experience

Placement Experience:

The foundation has a powerful Training and arrangement cell which is worked by an experienced official from Kolkata and helped by other senior and experienced employees from the co-ordinational wing at the school. The preparation and position cell is ceaselessly exploring for open positions for the understudies of BIET, by going about as an interface between the foundation and the college. Indeed our school gives the temporary job.

Placement Experience:

1. In the 4th year our college offers on and off-campus drives for our students. 2. TCS, Tech Mahindra, Shyam Steel, etc companies visited our college and took 20% students as their employees. 3. Highest package was 30000/month for freshers and for experienced candidates it was 50000/ month. The lowest package was 15000/ month. 4. Total 45% of students get placed 5. After completing the degree my plan was to get a job and gathering some experience.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. Some companies which visited are zensar Technology, LG, TCS, Tech Mahindra etc. Highest salary package offered was 6 LPA(lakhs per annum) and the average salary package was 4 LPA. 50 to 60 percent students including me got placed. My plan was to do further studies.
