Remarks

Library of this college is very big with lots of books. The admission process is very easy with very less paperwork. The only reason for preferring this college is that it is not very far from my home. The website I used while selecting this college is collegeadmission

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose BTech in computer science Engineering because I like this subject and it has a good scope. Faculty: student ratio is 1:30. All faculties are very well educated with a PhD degree. They teach us very well. Term exams were easy if you study what is taught in college.

Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Placement Experience

Students are eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. Some companies which visited are zensar Technology, LG, TCS, Tech Mahindra etc. Highest salary package offered was 6 LPA(lakhs per annum) and the average salary package was 4 LPA. 50 to 60 percent students including me got placed. My plan was to do further studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are like other colleges and it remains the same. Cost to study BTech is around 3 lakhs. There is a scholarship programme for students who has less than 10000 rank in wbjee. I got a job in zensar Technology in the final year with a package of 3 LPA.

Campus Life

Life at the campus is very interesting with many facilities. Annual sports, debate competition and tech fest take place every year. Lots of books are available in the library. There is a charity program SPARSH run by the students for poor and economically backward people.

From Third semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies like P360, EY, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Neutanix, BinaryWorks and few more visited our college for placements and mostly 15 to 20 offers were made Highest package was around 5 to 6 lpa 50% students were placed I am now preparing for govt jobs and side by side also applying for offcampuses. Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

Students are eligible for campus placements from 7th sem. The names of comanies visited are TCS, Infosys, Capegimini,Tech mahindra etc. Some students Got 2 offer laters . Highest packages last year was 47 LPA (off Campus) 27LPA ( on campus). Average pakage was 5-6Lpa. The job role is Software Development. Percentage of Students Got placement is 92-95% In my Deoartment. Other is Around 70_90%. My plans to take placement from product based company.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Excellent collage

The course is completed after the 12th and then qualification of the e Jew exam passed with a good rank then u should get admission in this college.
