Good college for enhancing your knowledge

Management is strict about the attendance and extra fees for lower attendance as well as late fine for submitting library books.

There are many extra curriculum activities in the college throughout the year. National level seminars also organised by our college. There are CE, ME, EE, ECE, CST, IT department in our college. The college is under WBUT University and AICTE approved govt aided college. There is a scholarship programme in this college.

In our time many companies are visited and placed my friends as well. In my year about 30% students got placed. And from overall about 58% students got placed in the year 2014 as an average. The company like pinnacle, redvise, JMC, TCS, Wipro etc visited in our time.

Every year annual Fest will be organised by 3year students of BIET. In the month march - April, annual sports organised every year in winter. Bllod donation cam organised by the Institution every year. In the camp we are all donated our bloods. In fest there are many bands like Reath, uniform velocity, fossils are came to make our programme more successful.

In 2010 the fees structure like this. 1st year 55 thousands, 2nd year 60000, 3rd year 60000, 4th year 60000. The fees can be submitted in the demand draft by quarterly, semester wise or annually. The choice is ours. So we generally submitted quarterly basis.

Yes I opted for education loan and got a post matric scholarship by the local BDO. For these scholarship I visited the local BDO and submitted the form along with necessary documents and after sanctions of scholarship every yeat about 10000 rs will be credited to our account after showing college fees. The load I opted education load and it is for OBC catagory.

Gender ratio male to female 1000:900. There are Excursion organised by our Institution through the fund of TEQIIP-I and TEQIIP-II a fund by word bank provided best 10 college in west bengal. The excursion was in Maithon dam. There are also Entrepreneurship programmes and seminars organised by the Institution.

No didn't opted for hostel. I stayed in mess. Near Suri town. There is also paying guest facilities. From there we cooking in the morning and night. And in between these We tiffin in the college campus.

Now a days we are Alumni. For registration purposes a fees of about 500 rs is cut from our Caution money. The alumni programme is organised frequently to discuss about the structure and development and innovative ideas for developing our Institution.

In Wbjee exam I got ranked and selected this college because in those days the college is proving excellent campassing and well established laboratory facilities and good facility. My department is civil engineering and I choose it because in this department the faculty are from IIT's. Regular class and assignments make this college punctual.

There are about 12 faculties in our department. Many of them from different IIT's and of age between 30 to 60 years. Regular class and assignments are giben by our teachers. In laboratory different technical assistants are present to help us in the laboratory test. There are 4 Lecture gallery in the college for using seminar purposes. A CAD lab is specially dedicated for my department.
