Birbhum Institute of Technology and Management is located in West Bengal. It’s been 19 years since the campus was established in 1999. The college is affiliated to WBUT. BIET West Bengal offers full-time B.Tech and M.Tech program in six and two specializations respectively.

Minimum eligibility for B.Tech is 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with 45% (40% for reserved categories).
M.Tech program requires a B.Tech or M.Sc degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized university.
A valid score in WBJEE is mandatory to secure admission B.Tech program.
JEE Main qualified candidates can also apply for B.Tech program.
BIET also offers admission to B.Tech (Lateral Entry) on the basis of the performance in WBJELET.
WBUT PGET or GATE qualified candidates are eligible to apply for M.Tech program.

Birbhum Institute of Engineering & Technology B.Tech Admission 2024

The college offers a four-year full-time B.Tech program in six specializations. The minimum eligibility is 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics and any one of the given subjects, i.e. Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational. Applicants must score more than 45% (40% in case of reserved category) marks in the qualifying examination. Final admission is based on the score in WBJEE or JEE Main followed by counselling. B.Tech (Lateral) is also offered for B.Sc or Diploma (relevant discipline) holders.

Key Points:

Final admission is done through counselling cum seat allotment process on payment of INR 500 as counselling fee.
Scholarship is offered to the meritorious candidates on merit-cum-means basis.
Special Scholarships is offered in B.Tech (Lateral Entry).
50% reduction in tuition fee will be offered to those candidates who have scored rank in the range of 300 or less than 300 in WBJELET.

Birbhum Institute of Engineering & Technology M.Tech Admission 2024

BIET, West Bengal offers M. Tech for the duration of two years in two specializations. At least 60% marks in B.Tech or M.Sc in the relevant discipline is the minimum eligibility criteria for admission. GATE or WBUT PGET qualified candidate can apply for admission.

Fill the application form accordingly.
Pay the application fee through Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Birbhum Institute of Engineering and Technology” payable at Suri.
Mention your name and mobile number on the back side of the DD.

The course is completed after the 12th and then qualification of the e Jew exam passed with a good rank then u should get admission in this college. The application form is found on the website of Waheed and then the application date is in December. all the reservations of the west Bengal government for all communities applied here There are some issues bin online application should make easier and then decentralized counseling processes should be easier.

It was a great experience at BIET.

Admission:

Yes we have all the necessary facilities in our college and our college infrastructure is very good for other than any college. As per labs, we have all types of materials required available. a lot of facilities are available in classrooms and throughout the college, we have living spaces that are good and hygienic. This college has Lab and Workshop facility.

Good college for enhancing your knowledge

Admission:

In Wbjee exam I got ranked and selected this college because in those days the college is proving excellent campassing and well established laboratory facilities and good facility. My department is civil engineering and I choose it because in this department the faculty are from IIT's. Regular class and assignments make this college punctual.

Excellent facilities and infrastructure are available in our college. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled and also the hostels.
