I took JEE(Mains) - 175/360 Marks 13469 Rank, JEE(Adv) - 102/372 Marks 13367 Rank i took B.E. ECE at PEC University of Technology, Chandigarh because i have interest in ECE and Chandigarh has various opportunities in terms of a city plus PEC is a renowned institute.

Course Structure is really good. Detailed study of courses is available. One can take up a proficiency in any field. Research work is also good. Faculty is really helpful in research purposes. There are every types of Labs available. Different fields of research work are carried out. Funds and Scholarships are also available.

Yes. College provides Internships. Record are fabulous here. Not even Computer Science but even Metallurgy Students back fab internships. Average or General Stipend is around 10-15 Thousand Indian Rupees. Last year a Metallurgy student backed 40 Thousand Stipend Internship at JW Marriott. Google, Amazon, Microsoft visit college yearly.

Campus Life - 10/10 gender Ratio - 2:1 (Male : Female) [EXCEPT MECHANICAL] diversity- Though Punjabi culture is more prominent here, there are students from whole of India. Extracurricular at its best. Best in India for Extracurricular. Labs are good. Scope of Sports is there except Tennis. There are a lot of competitions for coding, robotics and literally every field. We had our PECFEST Recently which covered everything, PECFEST is the Biggest fest of North India.

MESS FOOD is awesome good quantity and quality food available at cheaper rates. You don't get to eat same things you get a variety and good food. Hostels are not up to that mark like that of Homes but they are good for an engineering college student.Good net facilities are available.

Senior Students are excellent they are the most helpful. They conduct different types of workshops every week to make juniors learn. One of the best Engineering College in India offers great alums too.

Firstly after getting your JEE Mains Rank, a portal in name of JAC, Chandigarh is opened. You need to register yourself to that portal paying a fee of Rs 1200. After 1 or 2 days Choice filling is opened. You need to fill your choices for a preferred institute in Chandigarh (PEC is best in Chandigarh ) and opt your favorite branches. No restrictions on choice filling. When results are out if you get a seat you need to pay Rs. 40,000 to accept the seat. If you don't get the seat or your preferred seat you may participate in next rounds of counselling. There are 3 rounds of counselling. Once you're allotted a seat you need to reach the institute on a date declared on the website and confirm your seat, take your hostel and you become a part of institute then.
