Remarks

The culture of the college, the brand value and the curriculum and the infrastructure. The professors and the opportunities at Thapar university is immense and there is an also a exchange program in which first two years are at thapar university and rest 2 years are at Trinity college, Ireland.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is very updated and the professors are very good and they are always ready for your help. Course syllabus includes various lab experiments and yes we had 2 industrial trips also but more should be done in this area.

Class Size: 27Course Fees: INR 1500000 per year

Placement Experience

placement opportunities are good but more % of students need to be placed but big names also comes into campus like microsoft, amazon, asian paints, HMEL, TATA, Infosys, Yara fertilizers

College Events

This is the best part of Thapar. Campus life and events and extracurricular activities are great. There are many societies like AICHE, Mechanical branch fateh societies where people can learn many new things and can work on various projects.

Course Curriculum Overview:

From the begning i was always into tech and computers i liked to make my school persentation on my pc and that's the main reason for taking the stream CSE . The curriculum makes you ready for thr real world application by providing classes for eveything that a student is facing problem. If you ask me for the suggestion then some teachers should change their tecahing methods so that they will help the student in a better way . after 3rd year or maybe in 6th semester many companies visited and very few visited both happens maintain your cgpa make your cgpa above 8 might be difficult but you might get adv highest or average doesnt matter then see how much package you getmaintain cgpa fill out the placement form also they charge 9000 in third year for your placement and dcpd trainign maybe - 50 percent placed well placement is poor after degree - internships job

Placement Experience:

There are placements drives being held in the campus but not for the physiotherapy field. But still they do help students to focus on building employability skills through compulsory internships , project works and hospital or clinical tie ups. Many students build strong resumes via internships, research projects, and online certification (Coursera, linkedin),etc. After completing the course I am planning for persuing masters in this field.

Placement Experience:

In LPU placement process usually start from 6th semester onwards. Many good companies come to campus like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, Amazon and few product based also. Some startups also visit. The no. of offers are quite large every year because batch size is big. Highest package I heard was around 40 LPA but that is very rare, only 1-2 students get. Average package is around 5–6 LPA for CSE branch. For other branches it is little bit low. Almost 80-85% students who are seriously preparing gets placement from college. College also provide placement training and soft skills classes which help in interviews.
