Experience at KCET

I would rate the course curriculum at KCET, Amritsar as relevant and comprehensive as it provides a strong foundation in both theoretical concepts and practical applications. I chose this course beacause of its focous on core engineering subjects.

Currently, I have not yet received an internship, but the college regularly organizes opportunities for students. Several companies visit the campus to offer internship across diffrent branches, guided by the placement and training cell.

I am currently pursuing a B.Tech degree at KCET, Amritsar 1st Year: Rs 150000 (Including tution fees, admission fess, registration fess, lab fees, hostle and mess charges) 2nd year: Rs 125000 3rd Year: 125000 4th Year: 125000 The total fee for the complete four year B.Tech course is approximately Rs 525000.

My overall experience with campus life at KCET has been highly enriching, both academically and socially. The collge organizes annual cutural and technical festivals. The Library is well-dyocked, offering a wide range of books.

I chose KCET beacause of its strong academic reputation, well-stuctured curriculum and supportive faculty, which I felt would provide a solid foundation for my engineering carrer. Among the other colleges, I considered options like GNDU and Thapar Institue of Engineering.

The faculty-to-student ratio at KCET, Amritsar is approximately 1:20, which allows for good peronal interaction between teachers and students The course structure follows the university guidelines and is well- designed, covering both theoretical and practical aspects. Each semester includes two sessioal exams, assignment, oracticalevaluations, and a final university exam. The marking scheme usually consist of 40% internal marks and 60% external marks.

The nightlife at KCET is calm and safe, as it is primarily a residential campus with most students living in hostles. The hostle timing are regulated and students are expected to return by 9:00 PM, ensuring a secure environment.
