Remarks

Maharaja Agrasen college/Delhi University/ I wanted to choose stats as my subject. My marks were not enough to get that in any college so as a substitute I choose mathematical sciece which has all the subjects I wanted.

Course Curriculum Overview

Courses are quite good but teachers do not teach professionally. Most of our classes are clueless and non of us understand why even they are teaching us when they don't know the teaching techniques. Most of them just read the same lines written in books and thn go out.

Class Size: 15Course Fees: INR 600000 per year

Internships Opportunities

HR in Amabe Ns Agro Company. Stipen was 10k, Data scientist in Avtena labs 3k per project ( each project was of 1 week) Social media Marketing with requiter adda.

Placement cell works hard to get better opportunity in our college but the crowd of our college is really worse so mostly companies do not want to invest their time in our college

College Events

The campus life is really boring. Neither the annual nor the department fests are fun. We don't get even a little enough fund to celebrate our annual department fest diligently. Last year there was no fun no dj night nothing. Our college fest was worse among all the colleges

Campus Life

Campus infrastructures is really awsam. We have big ground and an open basketball court, free broken wifi and 2 floor of library. Labs are full of necessary equipments. There are more thn 7 labs for each subject

Campus placements begin in final or fourth year. So from 7th semester students become eligible for on campus placement.From 5th semester or 3rd year students are eligible for on campus internships with very good package. In Nsut all top companies like Google, microsoft ,adobe, amazon, flipkart and many more visit.Around 300 companies visit each year. Highest package in 2024 is 83lpa in cse branch and 18 lpa average.In cse placement percentage is 70%, and in ee it is lower around 40%.

NSUT- A rollercoaster but definitely must have experience.

Placement Experience:

After internship season gets over, placement season starts with starting from 7th semester. At the start a lot of good product based companies visit and gradually the package offered start decreasing. The placement season lasts for full one year and around 90-95% students get placed. I chose this college based on infrastructure as there wasn't much information available about this college online. Alsoz on the du official website, this college is mentioned as North campus which was a confusion for me at that time as I thought it was true but it wasn't as this is an off campus college of Delhi University. The admissions in the whole of University of Delhi is based on CUET scores. The preferences need to be filled by the students and then he/she is allotted the college according to the cit off and the scores. The subjects that need to be taken in cuet should be the same as in 12th boards. For humanities/arts courses the scores are out of 800. So, for arts courses the normal cit off for general category students are around 650, for obc students around 500 and for sc/st is much lower....Read More

MAC is magnificent!!

Same as CUET as all the colleges listed under DU has the same process. Its not that 12th percentage are ignored they too are calculated but ultimately the winner is CUET. Definitely MAC was not the first choice as it was the Hindu College but never mind MAC was good too....Read More

My personal experience of MAC

Earlier I got admission in Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar college university of Delhi but Then I got this one in second round of admission. And I choose this one because of it's fee structure that is less compared to others. And for the admission you have to appear in common university entrance test (CUET) conducted by NTA then you have to apply for the admission through Delhi University's counselling process which is common seat allocation system CSAS then according to your score and college preference you'll get your admission....Read More
