Top 2nd College of IPU

College is very good. One can give 4 out of 5 points to this college. The area which it lacks is that it is located on the outskirts of Delhi. Students might have to travel a lot to reach. It is almost 7 kms from the nearest metro station i.e Rithala.

1st year curriculum is general for all students with different specialization. The exam structure is decided by the university (GGSIPU). But internal examination may vary from the university. 2nd year curriculum is based on specific specializations of the students. Subjects are mainly future focused i.e they help us in becoming a good profeesional as it includes various case studies, mind activities, etc.

Placement Cell is made and run by students with the help of the Placement HOD. She grooms each and every students when required to be ready for a job. Placement Cell not only provides great jobs but helps in networking before a job as students also are in touch with HR or company profeesionals to bring companies. Moreover, companies like Deloitte, EY, Moody's, BlackRock, Cvent, Byju's, Naukri.com, S&P, etc. Therefore, placements are such that one can earn the amount of fees paid in 2 years in less than 1 year of his/her job.

Events are vital part of student's journey. The college gives opportunities to bring a new event or an activity from students which can help the students to be a good profeesional. The events are also organised by the various clubs like Finance Club, Marketing Club, or HR Club. They organised area specific events. College events- Sports Day, Annual Day, UDAAN (For management related activities) etc. Finance - Financiero, Share Market related event, seminars on various financial topics. Marketing & HR - Creative Thinking activities, specific seminars, etc.

Fees structure is feasible. It amounts for approx. 2,33,000 for 2 years including security). Moreover, variable amount like Book Bank cost (refundable), Hostel/PG fees, transportation cost, etc is optional as it depends on student's choice. The fees is to be paid in 2 different installments i.e at the beginning of each year.

I opted for education loan. The college admin department is very supportive in their work. They provide each and every help in one go. They value time.

Campus life is great. Gender ratio is almost equal in MBA. Moreover, there are lots of extracurricular activities like sports day, essay competitions, internal seminars and workshops, annual day, etc. They provide a great balance in a student's life.

Yes, I opted for hostel for an year. The hostel is way too great specially the food. Unlike other college's mess, the food of hostel is very good with a great variety in the menu. The hostel offers 4 time meals (Breakfast, Lunch, Tea+Snacks and Dinner). It follows a particular time period for each meal. Boys Hostel is only there in the premises, therefore, girls need to opt for affiliated hostels located outside the premises. There are 3 options for hostel rooms i.e 4 sharing, 2 sharing and Single Seater. The cost of single seater is around 1.20 lacs for a year. Other rooms are for proportionally less.

Each year, Alumni meet is organised in the month of January where alumnus visit the college and share their industry experience after the college life. They are so helpful that they sometime also refer the students in their specific companies.

I Secured 272 rank in the entrance exam i.e CET .The exam was organised in the month of May for admission in August same year. The form for the entrance exam is to be filled till February or March (dates may vary). The college admission is based on preferences of the candidate mentioned from various IP college list and the corresponding rank needed for the preferred college.

Faculties of the college are too supportive. They help the students grow individually and in team too. They give the chance to each and every students to bring the best out of him and her. They give good finishing touch and polishing to the students education life before being a profeesional.
