Remarks

This was one of the top rated colleges in Mumbai. It was cs in SPIT or dj Sanghvi. So SPIT was better since vjti was out of reach

Course Curriculum Overview

It was great in the 1st and 2nd year, but after that the principal changed and then it was all downhill and still is. Like it is going to be a very tough 4 year journey, especially in campus.

Internships Opportunities

There is a home grown incubator for startups which is sponsored by the state government. It is known as SP TBI. Can easily get an internship there.

Placement Experience

Pretty good. Average package of 10 lpa. The highest package currently is 30 lpa. There were more than 50 companies who hired someone of the other and more are coming

Fees and Financial Aid

Around 140000 per year. Has been increased as car as I know

Campus Life

The campus is the best. With 4 other educational institutions, has a big lake, a lot of greenery and a temple. Spit also has amazing views of the surrounding and also of a very big single rock structure over 7 floors in height. The Gilbert hill.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible in the 7th semester itself The company for aeronautical is Hi-Tech which is a best company. The average package is 125000 It's almost 70% because most of the students are going for higher studies My plan is to go for higher studies

Placement Experience:

From 7 semester students become eligible for csmpus placements. Highest package goes to 4 crores and average up till 23.5 lakhs. I would sit for placements after my degree. Placements percentage is almost 95 percent.

College infrastructure is very good but still some part is under construction

Course Curriculum Overview:

First-year is the same for all. then we get separated branch-wise for future brief studies as per interest. we have qualified Ph.D. holder facilities for guidance. and then we have experienced lab staff. We have 20 marks on internal exams and 80 marks in theory writing. also, assignment and attendance marks are separately included in it.

SPIT- The most amazing 4 years of your life!

I had applied to DJ sanghvi, VJTI and COEO,pune. Out of these I made the cut for DJ sanghvi but kept SPIT over it because of the reputation and placement records it holds. Also the fees were less. I couldn't get computer branch in VJTI and COEO due to their high cutoff. Mostly students take admission after clearing MHTCET exam with good rank. But some of the seats are reserved for the JEE mains students. The cutoff for that is high too....Read More

Beyond the brochure: My journey at SPIT

to get into SPIT, get admission in it by cet or jee mains exam both are fine With cet, you have more chances to get admission her as more seat percentage is given mhtcet exams studnets i have got 99.7 percentile in cet, i was trying for vjti and but i didn't get there. one of the important factor was very low fees as i have got tfws seat here For admission process, take all neccesory documents before going to college with dd for fees...Read More

Did SPIT worth it??

To take admission in this college you have to score good rank in mht vet exam after that you can apply through cap portal of Maharashtra government website and you get allocated through cap round and once you freeze the college you will be provide date to submit your documents and pay fees and then you will be admitted and you have to search for accomodation on your own as the accommodation provided by college is too costly for average middle class students....Read More
