Entrance Preview

I appeared for the Maharashtra State Board HSC Exam and the JEE-Main in 2014 and obtained a State Rank of 216 from open category. I chose VJTI simply because it is the second-best engineering college in Maharashtra after IIT-B and that too in Mumbai, so it was better to come here instead of going out of Mumbai and staying in hostels.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our course curriculum is decided by the respective Department faculty, and all the exams are also conducted by the college itself, since it's an autonomous college, we just follow the rules of the University of Mumbai, we're not dependent on it.

Internships Opportunities

I haven't attended any internships yet.

Placement Experience

Many companies visit our college for placements including the renowned MNCs like Microsoft and Samsung.

College Events

VJTI has one of the finest festivals in Maharashtra, we have the Technovanza - our technical festival, Pratibimb - the cultural festival, Enthusia - the sports festival, etc. Technovanza was started in the year 2000, since then it conducts a grand festival in the month of December, which has a wide range of events which basically aim at bringing all branches of engineering together and getting constructive work done. We also have a mega-launch in the month of August, which is attended by several FYs and other people. We also hold coding events and Rubik's cube art competitions.

Fees and Financial Aid

All scholarships are for reserved category students and students having income less than a certain limit, hence I do not fall under this category.

Campus Life

The VJTI campus is quite huge, you can have a look on Google maps, so the campus life is very cool, we have various extra curricular activities like working with Technovanza, we have a society of Robotics and Automation, various competitions as I mentioned above. For debates and literary activities we have a committee Debates & Literary Association of VJTI (DLA).

Hostel Facilities

I stay in Mumbai, so, I don't stay in the hostel, however as per my information, the quality of hostels and the food in the mess is good.

Iit Bombay the dream college

Placement Experience:

The students gets placement from 6 th sem with internship and ppo . The average package is 26-28 lpa and the highest was 2 crore . Major companies that visit are google , amazon , microsoft, meta, adobe and many more product based companies. Almost 88% get placed some go for higher studies and some start their own startup . I have started working in company in which I got placed.

Good Experince at VU

Placement Experience:

from 4th year all the students gets offers of placements. and from 3rd year students started getting Internships. also there is google dev groups club in house placements in our college. i don't know in details but from my side it could be 15lpa highest and lowest as in every colleges like 2,3lpa something arround. Almost 80% students gets placements who all are focusing on there carrer my plan is to get settle in luxurious lifestyle after getting my degree

ICT Mumbai : A great college

How is Wit solapur ?

Placement Experience:

After completing the 6th semester students can apply for campus placements. The placement is average or I may say good although the highest package is not that good it is around 13 lpa. The average package is 3.75 lpa. Around 70 9f students get placed.

My College Life Experience

I Actually don't applied for any other college my preference from first was VJTI only however I do add SPIT on my 2nd preference I don't get rejected I just choose VJTI because it has a great background than any other college also it's location is quite good to get admission students must give an exam name mht cet which is Maharashtra state common entrance test through which they get admission in my course and many other once result is out the admission has to be done through cap round cutoff for my course is between 95-99%+ile depends on various factors like reservation and etc etc overall admission process takes some days but it is worthy...Read More

Detailed and Honest Review of VJTI - One of The Oldest Engineering Colleges in India.

Talking about other colleges I applied for, I registered for JOSAA and CSAB both. Through JOSAA I got the IIT Dharwad, since I got the BS plus MS programm there I regestered for CSAB, through CSAB I secured seat into iiit Bhopal cse. Because it is a newly established iiit, it does have poor facilities. Then through CAP counselling I got seat at VJTI. Then Ieft iiit Bhopal and joined VJTI. Today I think that, the decision taken by me was absolutely right. Apart from this I also applied for IIST Thiruvananthpuram but due to my 12th board score I could not make it. To do engineering in Maharashtra, MH-CET is compulsory and every student here has come that way. Rank of 3000-4500 is enough for general category students to secure admission in VJTI's E&TC branch.
