Remarks

I chose this course because I have always had interest in knowing about how the foods that we consume are processed and handled from farm to fork. This college is probably one of the best colleges in Delhi university providing this course. Since the college has an amazing location with good connectivity to almost entire DELHI NCR, it's easier for students to commute through several transportation facilities. Also being off campus, it's peaceful and away from unnecessary hustle bustle, making it safe for girls.

Course Curriculum Overview

The teachers are very helpful, they help us in our projects and encourage us to participate in various inter and intra college activities. Teachers use digital and practical methods to teach us the concepts. We were also taken to many industry visits. The course curriculum is vast, informative and updated as per the modern trends and practices followed in food and beverage industry. There are also many workshops and seminars organised for the students to gain knowledge about technical know-how of industries.

Placement Experience

4.5

Students are provided with various internship opportunities by the college, and students also apply for internships on their own in Bikanervala, FSSAI, Delhi Milk Scheme, etc. Teachers also inform us about many job opportunities in quality control, production, and processing in food processing companies. The college doesn't have a placement cell. Placements were handled mainly by the HOD of the food technology department and the teachers also posted job opportunities.

College Events

5

Students should not miss the annual fests where many famous personalities are invited. Also, annual DJ night is organized for all the students. It usually happens after the freshers' party. Farewell as well as freshers party is also conducted every year. The campus crowd is full of happiness, positivity, ambition, hustle, and enjoyment. There is strict security at the college gates as no one can enter without the college ID card or without proper appointment or permit. Scholarships are also provided to the bright students. There is an anti raging club on the campus to ensure safety of every student. Various societies in college organize numerous activities and competitions and also participate in various inter college competitions.

Campus Life

Classrooms are spacious. The library is huge with a great seating area. There are two grounds for sports and a basketball court. There is also an amphitheatre for extracurricular and stage activities. Food provided in the canteen is hygienic and economical. Labs are maintained well, and the incharges are very helpful. Hostel facility is provided with clean rooms and washrooms. The entire campus is wifi enabled with CCTV surveillance.

Hostel Facilities

Days scholar. Thogh I am a days scholor I used spend some time with my fellow mates in hostel. There's the most peaceful atmosphere. .

Placement Experience:

Plac at DSEU CSE is fair to good. Pup can try for plac from sem 6. Some try in sem 5 for intern. Firm that came: TCS, Wipro, HCL, LT, Capg, Infosys. Few new firm too, like Zoho, Byju, Jaro, Chegg. Core code role and test eng role were key. Data role too. Deal count was fair. Some got more than one deal. In my set near 65% got deal till now. More deal come in last phase.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason why i chose to pursue the degree of BA.LLB is because of enlightenment and awareness it gives to an individual about what is happening around them and the legal and fundamental rights of a common person with no political power in India. The curriculum somewhat prepares student for a real world experience as the degree involves internships from 3rd year onwards. I'm still learning myself so can't tell what's there to improve in studies and the syllabus. 2 exams being held every semester, that is internals and the externals. It comes with a leniency though, because it could be harder but isn't, just enough shall be gone through before the exams. Even if someone pays attention in the class with no notes and not being busy on the phone, he/she can still pass easily.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at our college are quite good and students generally become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onwards. Many reputed companies visit the campus every year, including Amazon and several other well known IT and business firms. The average package is around 5 Lacs per annum, while some students receive higher offers depending on their skills and performance in interviews.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have a keen interest in theoretical subjects. Even in my school time, I liked theory subjects more than practical or numerical subjects. This is one of the reason I chose this specific course. Another reason is that I like reading non fictional novels. At the age of 15, I started reading novels but after diving into this course I'm liking the fictional novels too. I don't think this course needs to improve anything. It is in it's best form at the point.

Placement Experience:

I think students become eligible for campus placements in 5th semester as now they are mature enough to be given such responsibility and to secure their future. I am not aware about the number of companies and offers. I am also not aware about the highest or lowest package offered but the average package for my college is ?6.5 lakhs per annum. The cgpa should be above 7.5 for better chances of getting placements. My plan is to get a good college placement in starting of the 5th semester.

I knew a senior already and asked her about the college she said teaching staff is good for which I can totally agree..there are a lot of assignments and stuff but at last it's helpful helps to gain exposure, knowledge and experience If you participate in all the activities which happend then it will be really good and helpful But the syllabus is very vast and with activities and assignment it gets stressful For the first year first sem it was very hectic as the exams were in really few gap but it was fine in second sem It is advised to try to study side by side atleast a little bit
