Remarks
Being a student of Bethune College which is affiliated to Calcutta University, I honestly felt more comfortable and secure. My university is a world within itself with an enormous library having books of all sorts. It is a vista of knowledge and experience. And since i had the required percentile, it was more than easy for me to opt for my university.
Course Curriculum Overview
The syllabus course was extremely updated and knowledgeable where we were exposed to a lot of developments, wisdom and philosophy. The faculties were easily accessible, hardworking, helpful, extremely wise and true stalwarts. The mavericks helped us to unravel whatever doubts or insecurities we withheld on our course
Placement Experience
Our University does not provide campusing since the majority of students want to pursue academia or higher studies. But my college provided the opportunity for campusing. A lot of companies visited our campus. I only attended the TCS campusing and cracked it. Later on, I refused the job as I wanted to pursue higher studies.
College Events
Campus life was aesthetically amazing where we got to discuss mainly ideas and knowledge outside the realm of a chosen syllabus. There were a plethora of opportunities where we got to participate in inter college events.
Campus Life
The library contained books that were rare and holistic. It was a world within it's ownself. We did not have wifi because we never needed it. And being a campus of humanities we certainly did not have a laboratory.
Hostel Facilities
I had opted for a PG. It was a four sharing room. They charged me 4,500 for lodging where i had to share my room with some juniors who were mostly very uncooperative, disturbing, inhuman to a very big extent. Luckily, i realized my own need for betterment and chose another PG where I took a single room. The rent was obviously high, but i got a lot of peace of mind and proper sleep. Talking about the hostel facilities, I didn't bother about it because i didn't want to avail hostels.
