Remarks

It was the most prestigious college out of all which i could get on the basis of my percentage in 12th class which was 95.4%. Most importantly it is located in North Campus which is a perfect Student area with a lot of opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview

Most Faculties are from Sikh quota here. Some are very good and some might be on the basis of quota. Best teacher i met was Ravinder kaur mam. She teaches punjabi and is a teacher of values. She taught a lot of things which no teacher taught me like her in my life.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 73000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement department is not too good and active. I dont know exactly which companies approach for placement in our college but to the extent i heard Placements in our college are not really good. One has to apply on his own will.

College Events

The Annaul fests held in our college are one of the best in North Campus. Most of the students participate by designing competitions with interesting prices and collaborations with different companies. Stalls are designed to offer different products. Reputed Singers are called to perform for hours and it is very enjoying. Moreover, cultural events such as yoga, plants visiting in zoology garden, it just feels amazing.

Campus Life

Sports facilities are too good for students who joined from sports quota. Wifi facility is available like Jio private net throughout the campus. Library is well designed with proper discipline and books order. Labs are also too good with experienced staff and all facilities such as computer labs and chemistry labs.

Hostel Facilities

I have opted for a PG which is Paying Guest House. It is private. Charges are 16000 per month Rent including 3 times food and evening snacks. Electricity charges are separate. We can get a Single room like single bed and we can also get double sharing and even tripple sharing also.

Hostel Fee: INR 176000 per year

Talking about the placements it has society that is placement cell you have to join it for updates and also you will register on your college portal also. According to previous data it has a highest placement of 6.5 lakh per annum and the companies which visits here are google, tcs, infosys, etc And in every year you are eligible but you have experience in fields a good resume My plan was to prepare for ssc after getting the degree

The course curriculum is something that can have improvements. For example I am studying C++ in my computer minor class which is becoming less and less relavent as compared to a lamguage like python. Alot of job prospects require students to know a language like R so I feel things like that should be taught so that the course cam make a student more real world ready.

Life at Deshbandhu

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is amazing, bringing many internship and pre-placement offer opportunities to the students. The average package being between 5-7 LPA, and the highest package grossing over 20 LPA. Around 60-80% of the students get placements. If i don't get a placement, I'd presue higher studies.

From 5 semester students are eligible for college placements and my college placements on a scale of 10 is 6 . It's good compare to other colleges also name of the companies that visited in our college are DE SHAW &CO, EY, AMAZON and many more. Highest package offered last year was 23 LPA and average package is 7 LPA . 45% of students get placements from campus my plans after getting my degree is to give MBA exam
