Remarks

The college has its past glory and superior reputation. On that time, my college has been ranked in no. 2 in the rank list of the colleges under Calcutta University. The academics and the faculties are the major factors that I like most about the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The main part of our college is the academics. It is the most effective and the strongest part of the college. The next positive part in ques of our college is the faculties. We have the most educated and the qualified faculty members and they are very much helpful.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 15000 per year

Placement Experience

The college provides placement opportunities for the final year students and the placement cell of the college is sufficient and acceptable. Deloitte Company has visited last year in our college for placements.

College Events

The campus life of the college is fair and suits me effectively. The college does not organize any cultural festivals or management festivals for the students. I have faced only one seminar in my college throughout my campus life. But the festivals are not organized hugely.

Campus Life

The campus infrastructure of our college is very good for the students. However, I don't think that the college provides good sports facilities for the students. College wifi is very much well-maintained and good quality. The library is another great attraction of this college. The library is installed with ample books and study materials and has the facility to make computer access.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of the course is pretty nice with diversified subjects alsong with specialization subjects in the 3rd and 4th semester. Some compulsory subjects include Tagore Studies and Basics of Communication. The course also includes Development Communication, Online media, Journalism, Gender studies, Advanced Audio Visual Production. The department is well equipped a mac lab but it only have 5 macs. The curriculum also includes Design, UIUX, Graphics design etc, and the curriculum is continuously updating with moden media teachings. The curriculum mostly prepare us for Academic Purposes than Industry.

SAJC - From The Eye of a Student.

There was only 3 better colleges I couldn't apply to. They were St.Xaviers Kolkata, Goenka and Maulana Azad. Seth Anandram Jaipuria College is among the top 5 colleges and is well known. It is also the best college in North Kolkata, some might not agree to me though. The deciding factors for me were very low fees, decent quality teachers, and the most important, quality of crowd and reputation of the college.
