Remarks

1. Faculty 2. Area 3.Distance from my home 4.Timings I heard from my parents that it is a good college as they are ex-students of that college. The faculty is very good as well as helpful. I felt the timings of the college suitable with my tuition timings. Also the area as it is very close to my coaching class, its just a walking distance. The time required to reach college from my home is suitable for me. The distance between my college and home is good enough for me. Looking and considering all these factors, I chose to opt for SA Jaipuria College.

Course Curriculum Overview

Each and every faculty is very good, very helpful, very much co-operative. The course syllabus was very much updated. It followed the new CBCS system. Right now industrial exposure is yet to be experienced. Each and every faculty is good, specially Prof. Radhanath Pyne, Prof. Jayendra Singh, Prof. SK, Prof. MSR.

Course Fees: INR 18000 per year

Placement Experience

Right now I cannot answer thid question as I am not yet a graduate and I have not experienced the procedure of Campus Placement.

College Events

My college lacks a bit of Technical and Management Festivals. However, it is good enough in organising Cultural Festivals. We had a late Freshers but it was grand. Just before the lockdown we had Freshers and Vasant Utsav. It was like a festival, a grand event.

Campus Life

Sports facilities are excellent. Library is quite good in size. Equipments in labs can be better explained by science students. There is a good computer lab. Even the library provides a good number of desktops which are available for personal use. However wi-fi is not there.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of the course is pretty nice with diversified subjects alsong with specialization subjects in the 3rd and 4th semester. Some compulsory subjects include Tagore Studies and Basics of Communication. The course also includes Development Communication, Online media, Journalism, Gender studies, Advanced Audio Visual Production. The department is well equipped a mac lab but it only have 5 macs. The curriculum also includes Design, UIUX, Graphics design etc, and the curriculum is continuously updating with moden media teachings. The curriculum mostly prepare us for Academic Purposes than Industry.

SAJC - From The Eye of a Student.

There was only 3 better colleges I couldn't apply to. They were St.Xaviers Kolkata, Goenka and Maulana Azad. Seth Anandram Jaipuria College is among the top 5 colleges and is well known. It is also the best college in North Kolkata, some might not agree to me though. The deciding factors for me were very low fees, decent quality teachers, and the most important, quality of crowd and reputation of the college.
