Remarks

The Jadavpur university has an outstanding faculty and infrastructure as it is recognised as one of the topmost universities of India. it is well facilitised with free wifi zones, large playground and gymnasium. The University also has an outstanding library and beautiful campus with hostel facility. The departments have great lab facility of their own and other resources required for higher education and researches. The university also grant students different scholarships and concessions.

Course Curriculum Overview

The University selects their own course according to the needs of a student for their higher education, future job prospectives job facilities of an analysts in different private sectors is available in the college counseling Moreover the syllabus is very good for searching jobs in Government sectors like RBI, Upsc conducting exams etc Jadavpur University's engineering, science and Arts department are the best faculties.

Placement Experience

Each year 40%of the economics departmental students get campus jobs. The monthly salary starts from 15k to 40k. the campus counseling offers jobs for analyst in various private sectors Companies like wipro, HSBC, Capegemini, Bridge i2i, M76, Delloite, Genpact,KMPG comes at regular basis in this department to give young economists the chance to get their livelihood and dreams

College Events

The University organises national and international seminars twice a year. And the departments also have their own seminars. professors and researchers from national and international levels are welcomed in these seminars For Economics department there is a young economist meet per year, and a grand each year The University department also celebrates freashers, teachers day, farewell party every year.

Remarks:

The infrastructure of this college is under development. One should not expect much facilities here because the college was established in 2016 and the first batch has not passed out yet. The laboratories are not up to the mark as there are less number of instruments. However there is a central library which is pretty good. There are projectors in most of the classrooms. The thing one can appreciate here is the cleanliness, whether in the classrooms or in the hostels or in the canteen.

First of all i liked the discipline of the college. And its student friendly environment. And the most that i like in this college is the friendly behaviour from the faculty as well as the non teaching staff. I love our college library. The course I have opted for has one of the best faculties in this college over West Bengal. We have 2 Ieee student society in this college in which students can easily be part of and enhance their skills. The placement cell of our college is highly reputed as they always bring in the best companies for campussing. (Including core companies). We have excellent lab facilities where we can work upon our projects. From this college numerous students have participated in hackathons( including national levels) and bagged prestigious positions. We have an MHRD facilitated research lab.

To get admission into jadavpur university students need to give a exam called wbjee which is held every year on 30th April. The cut off is pretty high and the difficulty is greater than jee mains which makes it competitive. Students from all over India can apply for this examination through wbjee main website and all the other details and updated their. The admission process is pretty smooth the students need to get to the college they are alloted present their documents of category (if any) and the wait for the next date to admission.
