Remarks

I always wanted to get admission in the top colleges of Delhi University and therefore I worked hard to get a good percentage in 10+2. I ended up scoring 97% and thus was able to get an admission in Hindu College. There were a lot of factors that I kept in mind while selecting this college. The exposure that the college provides in terms of its extra-curricular activities and societies was one of the most important factors in selecting this college. Plus, the college has an amazing placement and internship cell which I thought would be extremely beneficial at the time of my campus placements. I am glad I chose Hindu College since I have been able to meet a diverse crowd of students who are extremely talented, well-spoken and confident and have helped me shape my personality in a better way.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is extremely up to date and the faculty of Commerce Department is extremely well qualified and knowledgable. The teachers are Ph.D holders and have considerable amount of experience in this sector. The course duration spans upto 3 years and is further divided into 6 semesters in order to make the Course Curriculum easy to understand and score.

Placement Experience

The placement and internship opportunities at Hindu College are well known. Some of the best companies like Deloitte, Accenture, United Airlines, Bain & co., Nomura, Ey, visit the campus every year looking for some of the best students. The average placement at my college is around Rs. 4-6 Lakhs with the Highest Placement reaching as high as Rs. 20 - 25 Lakhs. Thus, the students are pretty much satisfied with the college placements.

College Events

The Annual Fest of Hindu College ie, Mecca is the biggest Highlight among the Delhi University College Fest. It is one of the most memorable experiences of the college. There are a number of extra-curricular facilities provided by the college be it related to Sports, Music, Debate, Dancing, etc. The number of societies you can join here are numerous and will add spark to your college life.

Plac at DSEU CSE is fair to good. Pup can try for plac from sem 6. Some try in sem 5 for intern. Firm that came: TCS, Wipro, HCL, LT, Capg, Infosys. Few new firm too, like Zoho, Byju, Jaro, Chegg. Core code role and test eng role were key. Data role too. Deal count was fair. Some got more than one deal. In my set near 65% got deal till now. More deal come in last phase.

Delhi college with admission through illegal means (chaotic)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason why i chose to pursue the degree of BA.LLB is because of enlightenment and awareness it gives to an individual about what is happening around them and the legal and fundamental rights of a common person with no political power in India. The curriculum somewhat prepares student for a real world experience as the degree involves internships from 3rd year onwards. I'm still learning myself so can't tell what's there to improve in studies and the syllabus. 2 exams being held every semester, that is internals and the externals. It comes with a leniency though, because it could be harder but isn't, just enough shall be gone through before the exams. Even if someone pays attention in the class with no notes and not being busy on the phone, he/she can still pass easily.

Reality Check

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have a keen interest in theoretical subjects. Even in my school time, I liked theory subjects more than practical or numerical subjects. This is one of the reason I chose this specific course. Another reason is that I like reading non fictional novels. At the age of 15, I started reading novels but after diving into this course I'm liking the fictional novels too. I don't think this course needs to improve anything. It is in it's best form at the point.

MY COLLEGE - HEAVEN AND HELL

Placement Experience:

I think students become eligible for campus placements in 5th semester as now they are mature enough to be given such responsibility and to secure their future. I am not aware about the number of companies and offers. I am also not aware about the highest or lowest package offered but the average package for my college is ?6.5 lakhs per annum. The cgpa should be above 7.5 for better chances of getting placements. My plan is to get a good college placement in starting of the 5th semester.

I knew a senior already and asked her about the college she said teaching staff is good for which I can totally agree..there are a lot of assignments and stuff but at last it's helpful helps to gain exposure, knowledge and experience If you participate in all the activities which happend then it will be really good and helpful But the syllabus is very vast and with activities and assignment it gets stressful For the first year first sem it was very hectic as the exams were in really few gap but it was fine in second sem It is advised to try to study side by side atleast a little bit

My unbiased review of VIPS

Placement Experience:

6th semester in bca you can get the placements, not before that. Number of companies like tcs is high as they take a lot of students in bunch. Offers are average like 3lakh per annum, highest i saw for bca was 6.6lakh per annum that too a couple of years ago I dont know the percentage of students getting placements. My plan is to go for MCA.

Inside Hindu College : Beyond NIRF 1

Apart from Hindu College, i applied for a admission in Chemistry hons course at Banaras Hindu University and Allahabad University and I got the confirmed admissions in both but I chose Hindu College over others bcz of its reputation, NIRF topper(NIRF 1 all over India),etc. No, I didn't get any rejection from any college i applied for. Studying in the Hindu College is a novelty!!

Hailing from Rajasthan and coming to Delhi, i don't think a better bet than Hindus college ever exists.
