Remarks

This college is the oldest co Ed college of south Delhi of Delhi university. This college attracts its students through experienced faculties, academic excellence, sports and extra curriculum activities.

Course Curriculum Overview

This college offers twenty undergraduate and eight post graduate in various specialization. Every year nearly 2000 students took admission in all over the courses. This college ensures self learning skills to students.

Placement Experience

The career counselling and placement cell of the college provide self employment to its graduating students through campus recruitment.

College Events

Deshbandhu college provides WiFi access to students. This college also provides the knowledge of experienced faculties to its students. Also, there is a well occupied library in the college campus. There are 2 grounds also.

DTU FROM A FRESHER'S PERSPECTIVE

Placement Experience:

Campus placements begin in final or fourth year. So from 7th semester students become eligible for on campus placement.From 5th semester or 3rd year students are eligible for on campus internships with very good package. In Nsut all top companies like Google, microsoft ,adobe, amazon, flipkart and many more visit.Around 300 companies visit each year. Highest package in 2024 is 83lpa in cse branch and 18 lpa average.In cse placement percentage is 70%, and in ee it is lower around 40%.

NSUT- A rollercoaster but definitely must have experience.

After internship season gets over, placement season starts with starting from 7th semester. At the start a lot of good product based companies visit and gradually the package offered start decreasing. The placement season lasts for full one year and around 90-95% students get placed. I applied to the entire delhi university and got this college in my first preference and overall I was satisfied with the same because of the nirf ranking of the college. Also, I heard a lot about the faculty from some of my cousins who have been an alumni of this college that the faculty is way too good.
