Remarks
I opted for the course because my interest was initially in computer coding and IT sector. The languages are the best I find in our course. I wish our course would focus more on fieldwork rather than book knowledge. They accomplish various fests as Encarta, Splash and Innovarious. The focus of the institution is now on the infrastructure of the building.
Course Curriculum Overview
Teachers of our college are well qualified and helpful to students. They are mainly from NITs and IITs. They teach in a good mood and a healthy environment. The course curriculum is 60% relevant, and the rest depends on an internship to be industry-ready.
Placement Experience
About 70% of the students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 9 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. Infosys was the top recruiting company of our college. The lowest salary offered in our course is Rs. 4,000 per month and the average salary offered is Rs. 5000 per month. The highest salary offered in our course is Rs. 9,000 per month. Around 15% of the students got an internship from our college in some companies like Infosys, J-K Cement, Gail, etc.
College Events
Our department is well-maintained. Classrooms have free Wi-Fi facility. Library consists of useful books and labs also have the latest computer accessories. Hostel infrastructure is comparatively not up to the mark. Food served in the mess is good. The mess is clean, but washrooms are not so clean.
Campus Life
The environment of college is very friendly and adaptive. Wi-Fi facility is available for 24 hours. Labs are well-furnished and have all the required software and computers. There are 7th gen i5 CPU with 3.3 GHz processing speed, which is enough for any requirement. There is a common canteen, and medical facilities are also available at very affordable rates as the government has done a lot on this.
