Remarks
One of the best and affordable private colleges in Eastern India. Friendly and supportive environment with ample opportunities in different fields. The campus can be better and professors can be bit more considerate towards outsiders. Sports facility can be improved. Placement policy can be modified. Admission is done through WBJEE which is conducted in May.
Course Curriculum Overview
Computer Science has been my area of interest from schooldays and I always wanted to learn development. So, I opted for Computer Science and Engineering as the course. Faculty: Student ratio is quite good for a private college. Teaching method has been quite good overall with few teachers having practical approach towards teaching. There were total of 4 internal exams in a year divided into 2 per semester. Internal exams were not too tough for regular students.
Placement Experience
Campus placements are offered from 7th semesters. There are ample number of companies visiting with a average package of around 4-5 lakhs and a maximum of around 15 lakhs. In CSE, around 96-98% of students are placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
During admission, the college demands the admission fees along with the first semester fees. Every year there's a hike of around Rs. 1000 per semester.
Campus Life
There are lot of extra curricular activities and events like tech fest, cultural fest and literary fest. The departmental fest is also nice event for creating a friendly environment among the departmental students. Library can be improved along with its infrastructure and availability of latest books. Sports is a major drawback in this college.
