Remarks

Here the opportunity too research is good, NIRF ranking is 29, The faculty is experienced and work on research with us. The institute environment is vey good. There is good student teacher ratio. There is study for m.tech is only 1 year after 1 year we got opportunity to internship in companies like TATA Motors, Stryker, Padmini In the department of mechanical engineering. And along with internship we work on thesis for the final submission.

Course Curriculum Overview

According to my opinion for the masters student the schedule fix is quite busy. Like they do not gave more time to student remain free. They continue the student busy with the schedule. The facilities provide are well known like the lab work here and very good faculty that help in doing experiment with us.

Internships Opportunities

For the Internship in the core company like the TATA Motors here get the stipend of over 22000 pm during internship, too get opportunity in internship we have to face some round like the placement process written test, then interview. In some cases the CGPA also play a major role for shortlist in a company.

Placement Experience

5

The placement at Thapar is quite big and here are some companies which recruit here are as like Amazon, American Express, Delloite, Maruti Suzuki, TATA motors, Zomato, Hyundai, RIL, Hero Motocorp, stryker and many more companies which recruit here.

College Events

4.5

The campus life is very good if you are want to enjoy here and in Thapar there are many events take place like we said daily is some event. But the most famous event is here is the SATURNILA which is the annual event of Thapar And in this event many celebrity came like Diljit Dosanjh, Zakir Khan, Abhinav Bassi. and many more.

Fees and Financial Aid

For Gate qualified student 12400(AICTE) + 5000 (college) = 17400 pm For non gate student college provide 10000 pm

Campus Life

The campus infrastructure is about more than 250 acres which is quite large. here you get a very well known nava nalanda library, Open air theatre, Swimming pool, Sports ground, Separate labs for each departments, saloon/parlor in campus, a big size mall like for each material you need here.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels is very good and i had stay here with the double sharing occupancy, with attached bathroom, The mess food is very good In this college mess only vegetarian food is served with sweet alsoand punjabi tadka and in unlimited quantity.

Teh campus placements are not that good for this course. It's good for BTECH students but for Mtech it is not at par. Till now for my batch hardly 5-6 companies came for internship out of which hardly 4 took the candidates.

Course Curriculum Overview:

You will get many opportunities to furnish yourself as the faculty members are too supportive. You will get to know many conference on daily basis that can upheld your boost and make you morally supportive. Doing masters there would lack of strictness as they thought your are grown up, they considered you only for exams and other circulum activities. University should seriously take in action the role their teachers are playing as they sometimes bunk many classes. Exams are not that tough as you would require basic knowledge of your subject.
