Remarks

It is a central university and I wanted to follow my brother's footsteps as he also went to the same university. They organise several seminars and activities in the department that helps us the development of our own skills.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is very good. It is designed in such a way that you dont have to worry about giving entrances for CA, CS etc. Yes we were taken to a industrial trip in our 1st semester. The faculties are good and knowledgeable. They are very friendly with you and give you guidance and advice always.

The placements and job opportunities differ from department to department. You have to apply on your own.

College Events

Campus life is amazing there. The environment is so so good. We have a cultural night in the end of our annual week which is always a super fun night. Every hostel lights up their hostels so beautifully in Diwali. Even the departments also celebrate diwali. You can participate in the annual week sports and other cultural activities where almost everyone of us get involved into that.

Campus Life

The sports facilities are good. We have a gym, swimming pool, basketball playground and a big playground where all the sports activities are organised. The WiFi network is really good. The size of the library is also quite good. I assure you can study there peacefully if you are not comfortable to study in your hostel room.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility is very good. The WiFi is free and very strong. The food is quite good. You wont have any complain about the food. At the end of the month, there is mess ending where you get the most delicious food. The hostel fees is less as compared to the other universities in India. The rooms are also good. Enough space for you and for your roommate. You will get the best university life in TU.

The college i study in is very good

Placement Experience:

Students from 5th semester onwards are ready for campus placements. The students from our college gets a very good college placement at a very nice company and salary. The percentage of students getting degree are 80% and my plan after my degree are to become "Company Secretary or job at SBI".

The Peaceful journey of a important chapter of life

Placement Experience:

The placements were smooth and easy, although small companies approached for the placement and the packages were not too much still it was fine. Companies like ICICI Bank, IFFCO TOKIO, BAJAJ, MARUTI approached. The percentage of students getting placement was low around 15-20 percent. My plans after degree is to start preparing for civil services exam

My honest review about my Dispur law college

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is what I'm interested in pursuing. I want to be educated and get knowledge to be able to help others or myself in times of difficulties that involve court representation. Faculty includes good and qualified teachers, some are better than others but overall it depends upon the student to make the best out of any situation. I will take admitted to another college but that's my opinion. All teachers have different teaching methods. Some are good at speaking skills and communication skills but some lack them. Term exams are easy if you study that's the point and passing will also be easy if you study well enough. It's not as difficult in the first few semesters but as we approach the mid-semester it gets real serious to pay attention in the class and grasp the complicated terms of the law.

I applied for different nits but couldn't get any because my jee mains percentile was little low , i applied for GFTIs like Assam University and Tezpur University, I got seat in both of them but I chose Tezpur University because it was far more better then Assam University both in terms of academics and infrastructure. My college admits students on the basis of exams like JEE Mains , TUEE , CUET , etc. For the engineering course the students are admitted on the basis of JEE Mains and TUEE scores and the cutoff is not fixed, it changes every year . A look at TU for MBA program

TU is a central government university and the ambience is majestic out here. I personally like the university very much as it creates such a bond, you would have memories forever.
