Abdullah's Review On Tezpur University - [TU], Tezpur

It has a National Ranking among the tol 5 universities of India and also a great peaceful environment surrounded by greenery which makes it an excellent Residential campus. Also it has advanced teaching methods and techniques.

The course syllabus was updated and in par with various professional courses. And there were industrial experience every year, where we visit a factory and learn about the process and the real life working of an industry. The faculties were professional and know their way around teaching.

The placement and job opportunities for the department were pretty good with placements every year at a good rate and the packages were also pretty great and various companies visited for campus placement and also navratna companies such as OIL and ONGC also comes for placement. But there is no campus placement for department of commerce also it is a new department which which currently has two passed out batches. Hope to see campus placement for department of commerce too in the near future.

The campus life is great with always something extra curricular activities going on and festivals for every school of the campus ranging from the management to the science to the math and finally to the literature. And the festivals are big and attractive and fun and includes performances and DJ night and also include popular bands or singers.

The infrastructure was extremely great and the university has all the facilities like for sports, it has badminton, archery, swimming, cricket, football, long tennis, volleyball, basketball and the list goes on. And centralized wifi for the whole campus with high speed internet. The library is extremely big and a 2 storey building.

The university is a residential campus so every boarder gets hostel and the hostel rooms are 2 person rooms, and the rooms are quite big and comfortable and mostly cool because of the trees and there are total of around 17 hostels which include two hostels for research scholars and also a hostel for married research scholars. And the hostels and rooms are pretty cleans and has good and clean sanitation facilities
