This college has a good rank according to NIRF rankings. Gargi has quite good infrastructure also. The faculty in Gargi is also well-experienced. Each lecturer hold a Ph.D degree and they are supportive also.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty is well-experienced, each holding a Ph.D degree. The teachers are supportive. Economics hons has a wide scope if someone wants to pursue this course then should go for it. Maths is quite important in this course as in this 3 year course you will be having Maths as subject in some form. There are different subjects in each year.
Placement Experience
The placement cell of gargi college offers various internships and job opportunities. The cell is quite active and offers different placement opportunities from various companies. There are various companies which comes for campus recruitment. Seminars and workshops are also conducted by them. Internships offered helps a students to enhance their skills.
College Events
Gargi organises 2 big events which are Zistatva and Reverie. And there are fests of different departments that are organised from time to time. The union team is the one who organises big fests and other small events. Webinars and seminars are also conducted from time to time.
Campus Life
The infrastructure is good. But there is network connectivity issues in the campus. Library is good as a student will get most of the books there and their is a separate room in the library where one can study peacefully. Their is nescafe which is a good hangout place and the sports ground is also good.
Hostel Facilities
There is no hostel facility which can be availed by the students. A student has to go for PG which are be available near the college area or near the green park metro. The facilities offer by PG's differ.
